A Visit To Viridian | dappledviridian

With a great screech a large Crobat landed in Viridian City and a boy from Johto came stepping down. He let out a small sigh as he stretched his arms above his head. Gold had never quite gotten used to the extremely long flights, especially since all Crobat could do was carry him. It always made his shoulders sore. The jet-haired male smiled as he approached the Virdian City Gym. He had made arrangements to meet with Green not long ago and was happy to be back in Kanto to see the older male. Gold hurried up and opened the door, poking his head into the Gym. "Yo, Green? You around?"

Green sighed as he entered his bedroom. It had been a long day at the gym. He had barely made it through so now he was going to get some well deserved rest. He ran his fingers along the wall and flicked his light on to fight someone had beat him to his bed. Red was resting peacefully among the piles of pillows and blankets Green had. The brunet smiled and shook his head, "What am I going to go with you?" Still he was tired, he toed of his shoes and removed his shirt then slid into bed by Red.

"R-Red! Shit, man, what happened ta ya?!" Green wrapped an arm around his old friend to support him, "C-Come on, wha's wrong?" When Red still didn't reply Green began to chew on his lip, "Why ainn't ya sayin' 'nything? Red, ya gotta talk ta me. You're freakin' me out!" He shook the jet haired male a little, "This ain't funny!" //I feel my muse a little//

【❄】 Red didn’t say anything as an arm snaked around him for support. Not because he didn’t want to—rather, because he couldn’t. The pain barred passage of any sound from his lips, and any attempts made by his words to escape were in vain, instead coming out as strangled gasps, or vain, incomplete explanations of what had happened.

✦ "It was—I didn’t think—” he began, doing his best to force out a clarification. But his best wasn’t good enough, and the rest of his words were lost among pained groans.

//sneeze meme// Green's sentence broke off as Red sneezed. He chuckled softly, "That was adorable, Red!" He grinned at the jet haired male and poked him in the chest, "How'd ya do that?"

【❄】 “Bless you," Red retaliated, unable to fight the pout that made itself visible at Green’s remark. He had only been trying to control the oncoming sneeze--but it had ended up being labeled as adorable.

A Visit to Kanto || Gold & Green

It was what? A year? Probably. But he wasn't counting.

Gold hadn't seen Kanto for what he deemed a REALLLLY long time. Not only was the region itself missed, his old friends were missed too. At first, it was like "Whew-finally-time-to-spoil-myself" but as time flew, it ended up like "wow-I-didn't-even-see-those-guys-since-forever".

Although Gold wasn't exactly the kind of dude to do reunions, he figured why the hell not. He had spare time and it wasn't as if the world needed saving...again.

First on his list was actually Red...though, when he did touch down to Pallet Town, not a single person knew his whereabouts. One name crossed out. Second was to visit that beauty, Yellow. The boy was sure that she had grown even more beautiful since he last saw her but...he didn't even know where to begin searching for her. Another name crossed out for now. There was also Blue on that list...but knowing her, she was probably everywhere, running her own errands as usual. Yet another crossed out for now. This led him all the way down to Green. Nothing was wrong with Green...yet at the same time, it was almost like the brunet was the only one of the four that he never really held a conversation with. However...at least Gold knew where Green was out of the four friends he made in Kanto.

With a light toss in the air, the trainer called out Togetaro, his trusty pal with somewhat of an attitude problem, to fly him to Viridian City. As the two took off to the sky, the boy clicked a few buttons on his Pokégear to message Green. "Heya, Green Beans. It's Gold. I'm coming to Viridian so you better have the day off to show me around! Also, I'm starving, dude. Have something ready, will ya? Thanks pal!" Gold chirped into the gadget, excitement building up at the thought of possibly free food awaiting him......and seeing Green too.
