Re that "problematic Darqx stuff ask"

If you go back and look at Gatobob's early art, Strade was way lighter than he is today. Darqx didn't "used to whitewash Strade", Strade used to literally be white. Darqx was just using the current Strade design of the time.

for anyone wondering about darqx's problematic stuff since I saw someone ask ages back- at one point their original iteration of rire was the head of a school and canonically a pedo. he no longer is, they haven't mentioned it on their socials since ~2010, and it seems to just be the result of the era's online edginess obsession. they also had a habit of whitewashing strade in the early btd days, they've improved on this significantly imo.

I don't want to argue about the wrongness or lack thereof, I just want to provide info and insight into why they're also includes in the problematic circle for those who were asking.

My favourite thing about BTD authors is that Gato and EP's content is full of nasty, gory and all the 18+ stuff, while there's darqx who turns literal serial killers and demons into kindergarteners and cute chibis 😭🩷

It's not only Gato's characters that are gay asf, but also other author's too. We have EP, making almost every their character hitting on the twink, emo naga. Family relatiops are REALLY messed up in their stories, like in some cheap ahh yaoi doujinshies.

U want twins? Kojimacest.

U want twink x bad boy? Veni and demian in the elevator, already doing the boombayah!

Old men yaoi? CAIN X RIRE!

I've not even mentioned yet how Darqx literally made her WHOLE party, full of dudes, and not a single female character. (I'm even convinced that Izm x A.E.D is canon 😭) and her main villain (Rire) is a stress toy to Cain.

Gen question but why do some people don't like Darqx? I know that people despise EP for his action and that people have complicated feelings about Gato due the drama but Darqx? What exactly did they do?
