I think another thing that pisses me off about Ncuti's entrance and exist being overshadowed and far too soon is that, while the Doctor's whole gimmick of being re-castable is special, using it to bring back people for specials or for quite literal *gimmicks* is. Stupid as hell.

I know Eleven was granted like a bajillion regenerations but the writers (and disney and producers) not being able to just stick with someone? Really pisses me off.

Fifteen deserved better and more, as did Ruby and Belinda.
