penny managed to convince daria to not end the relationship totally and just go on a break, but daria isn't entirely sure. truthfully, penny may have had a point when she asked about salim. she thinks something in her may have been broken when he broke her heart, and she's worried marrying penny may have been a kneejerk reaction to that hurt.

in other news... daria entered her mid-life crisis and decided she wanted a big change. this coming so soon after salim's surprise visit, penny can't help but think this has something to do with him, even as daria insists it has nothing to do with him.
