The dovahmom equivalent of slinging her arm over a car passenger during a sudden stop is to grab both her kids and hold them close during a crisis situation.
She still does it sometimes to M'aadij when she’s her full size but she can only really grab a paw and drag it to her chest

Some older Dovahmom and son recon. Khiava becomes more Khajiit Butch with every dragon she kills w her kids. Tbh I prefer her Dovahkiin questline to take place over like 10 or so years so she and her 2 kiddos have the opportunity to grow n adapt to a foreign land.

Khiava speaks w the khajiit inflection but worked to speak with a more Nordic syntax after deciding to stay in Tamriel. The locals got used to her speech, but dang they still are a little rattled everytime she introduces the giant cat as her sweet n delicate babey girl
