Either way, there's a burst of red lightning and the thunder god himself appears. In a second, he's got the offender lifted off the ground and pinned against the nearest wall. The air is filled with static and Raiden looks at you as the person struggles against his grip.
You can talk him down, but not before he shocks the person like a taser.
💥 A fighting headcanon
Dark!Raiden shows no mercy in fights. He disintegrates enemies and chars their flesh with strikes of red lightning. With Shinnok's amulet, he unleashes devastating attacks that leave him covered in blood and viscera.
If he's protecting you, he unleashes a power that you've never seen before, almost animalistic as he tears his opponents to shreds and scorches the very earth around him.
🌑 A dark headcanon
Raiden has killed at least one of your exes. Maybe you spoke of a time they did something that hurt you, or maybe they tried to contact you to get back together.
Either way, you find out through a friend that they were struck by lightning, and when you confront Raiden, he smiles smugly.
