Why are there so many dead animals around this house?
Me and my friend go to this abandoned house in our neighborhood to rescue frogs from the pool. It already smells pretty bad because of the gross pool, but yesterday it smelled weirder than normal. When we looked in the pool we found out what it was. Two adolescent bunnies had drowned in the pool. We had gone there about three days ago, and so judging based on what they looked like they must've drowned the morning after we left. We couldn't leave them there, so we went back to my house and got gloves, bags, and a trowel. My friend didn't want to touch them, so she dug the holes to bury them. I got them out of the pool, and named them Juliette and Mercutio. We buried them very respectively and marked their Graves with rocks and clovers. When we were burying them, I walked by what I thought was sunbleached wood. It had been there for a long time so I thought nothing of it, but when I looked closer, and I thought, "is that a feather?" It was a hawk corpse. What is going on in this abandoned house. There's a dead guinea pig inside the house, there's the dead toad we found in the pool, the two bunnies, and finally the hawk.
