Bruno goes into the walls for Mirabel, the family, and a little bit for himself. Dolores swears not to tell a soul. Time passes and he likes to keep an eye on his darling sobrina. The one he's done everything for. The one who is growing more everyday until one day he realizes she's not a child anymore. She hasn't been for a while. That's when the dreams start. Dolores starts growing skittish as he talks in his sleep. His visits to the wall that reveals Mirabel's room grow more frequent as obsession grows and lust takes hold. One day, Mirabel finds him in his room and she has questions about him and the things Dolores told her. She doesn't know what to think of them. Of how much he gave up for her. How many liberties he'd taken. She says that Dolores is afraid of him. "She should be," he growls. Dolores had betrayed him. Had hurt Mirabel with truths she could've lived without. He soothes Mirabel into silence and forgiveness. He could never harm her. Dolores, however, had betrayed his trust and was a liability. Not just to him, but to Mirabel. He convinces Mirabel to lure her behind the walls where casita cannot reach her and she's never seen again.
