SO my car has a new RePuTaTiOn just like Tay’s ~basically~
@taylorswift if you read this maybe you’ll appreciate it because my friends and I all had a real good laugh about this whole situation and I just *had* to share.
I used to have a silver car that I bought used almost 3 years ago, she was a great car to me. I named her Sparkle. Fast forward to about a month ago, someone backed into Sparkle in a parking lot and the insurance company ended up totaling her. I shed a silent tear, I was so sad. She was a perfect car.
About two weeks after that, and they’d given me my payout, I ended up finding the same car, but a few years newer, and black this time. I was able to get a great deal on it, so I ended up buying it. *celebrate*
Now, I’m always one to name my cars (my first car -- which was green -- I named Kermit), so obviously, this car needed a name too. I couldn’t think of anything that felt right, and one of my friends goes “lolol name your car reputation,” and this all happened not too long after you released LWYMMD. Then we were talking about how the sweet innocent car became this pretty badass, sleek looking thing after being put through all this stuff (the accident and whatnot), then we were going on and on about how “the old sparkle can’t come to the phone right now because she’s dead” a la LWYMMD, and now my car is basically named Reputation aka Dark Sparkle aka The Old Sparkle is Dead and my friends and I all thought it was hilarious (maybe you had to be there, sort of thing, I dunno), but I thought you might get a kick out of hearing that!
