half-assed sketch for an AU I’m forming

basic premise: turtles in their 30s have gone their own way. Raph stays at the farmhouse with Splinter after spending a decade road tripping across the United States. All is well and peaceful until a surprise visit from Renet leaves him with four baby clones and a claim that she’s cleaning up timelines to put things where they rightfully go.

Soooooo we had a Secret Santa on the @weeklymagmas server.

I was @dangerousgiantlime 's Santa! She said she liked anything but especially the Dark Turtles so I drew her take on Rise!Dark Turtles picked up a Christmas tree.

I locked in on the background honestly. I'm proud of it.

It was fun to do and I hope we do it again next year!

So now I'm wondering something after some talking with @catbowserauthor

And that is what would a dark Mikey look like for a comic book or a TV show. We don't really get anything like that with Mikey.

In most cases he either isn't in the line for mind control or he's straight up resisted or immune to it.

And if you really want to stretch it. He had his moment taken when the good genes moment was given to Donnie in 03(if you wanna call getting forcefully mutated into a a giant feral monster that's on a time limit something along that line)

This almost feels like a writing experiment or exorcise.
