Have decided on a proper base design for the Veric (Villagers/Illagers)! They're deer-people now!
Why? Because deer are weird. For example, there was a time there was a deer in a friend's garden (note: the garden had deer repellent in it) that was so busy eating the plants that my sister and her friend was able to pet it, and it didn't do anything when the friend's step-father waved one of the deer repellent sticks under it's nose.
Also, deer are kinda territorial. So I think it works.
(Upstate NY rural experience, here. The deer look both ways before crossing the road where we are.)
