What's Up With The Project?
To simplify things, this began as a response to people having issues with the antisemitic villager and pillager/illager designs. It has gotten very far out of hand.
What Am I Doing?
The Entities
I'm redesigning the Villager, Iron Golem, Pillager/Illager, and Witch entities, as well as renaming the Snow Golem to the Snowman.
The Iron Golems are becoming Copper Automatons, deadly protectors powered by mysterious magic.
Villagers are becoming the Light Veric, a mysterious culture still affected by a great mistake.
Pillagers, Illagers, and Witches are becoming the Dark Veric, the ones who didn't let the mysteries that haunted them go.
All of them are losing the nose, changing greatly in appearance, and also getting new animations.
The Structures
So first, I'm working on the villages. Yes, I know they're nice as they are, but I think I can make them better. Also, I'm weird about things like candles being where they belong and torches not being inside.
I'm working on the Plains Village first, then going to the Snowy Village, the Taiga Village, and the Desert Village. I'm adding a Mesa Village, a Swamp Village, a Jungle Village, and, in 1.20 and up, a Cherry Village.
Other
I'm going to create multiple new blocks, including translucent hide windows, greased paper windows, horn windows, small tables, and multiple forms of wattle and daub. I'm also planning to redo the trading system with multiple options and less importance of emeralds. Basically, I'm planning to make trade work entirely differently and more like actual trade.
Other Information
I'm really new to this, so I may ask more experienced modders in their inbox for advice. If anyone is unwilling to help me, then I apologize in advance for asking.
