The powers that be behind the Darkadya metal art book juried the 50 artists included to drum up interest in the book and what have you. I came in second which I'm very grateful for as there are artists in this book who are probably more deserving. What is very important to me is I scored high with Steve Wang the special effects artist and designer of the Predator alien of the 1987 movie of the same name. Say what ya will. Top 5 movie around here. I adore that Predator movie and have the high school notebooks that have the main character drawn throughout. Geek out level alpha. Thanks also go to Michael Faley of Metal Blade records, to anyone who considered my work and to those who included me in this book. Congrats to Vincent Castiglia, Jason Horley and all the artists involved. I'm looking forward to seeing the fruits of Lariyah Hayes hard work. Thanks all.
