               “              GEORGE!!” the words are THROWN out of him. his heart lurches into his throat when he sees the other. SHIT, he really didn’t look good. elliot had looked like this before, hell more than once. life was pretty damn dangerous for him. before the others name fully gets out of his mouth, elliot is to georges side. he was covered in blood - his own from the looks of it. elliots hands move to grab the others shoulders softly, eyes wide with concern. “hey, hey are you okay?? what the FUCK happened to you?? who did this to you??”

Difficult question to answer for some reason, but Elio’s at least going to try. There are. . .a lot of things that he enjoys doing, but which should he bring up to George? The piano? Swimming? Movies? Dancing with his friends? They all seem. . .not meaningless, but unimportant to bring up just yet. Besides, they’re all things the other man knows. He’s laying on a bed and staring at the ceiling, a small, curious smile on his face. Should he be ROMANTIC and say something entirely cheesy?      “ You make me happy. Lying here with you, reading quietly, or talking about whatever we both want. . .not worrying about anyone coming in to bother us. When we have a few hours to ourselves. ”      Nothing else matters.

‘ Always? Even though this is so hard? ’      Not that Elio wants him to go, but secret relationships are stressful, and he’s not sure how long they can keep other people from knowing. If others find out, will they be ripped apart? Will they have any other choice? He’s stepping in closer to George and pressing his forehead to the male’s chest.      ‘ I’ll always stay, too. I promise. ’

              “it’s okay.” elliot is the LAST person to shame crying. he understands that sometimes it needs to happen. he’s not upset about that - he’s just WORRIED. “you can cry, that’s okay. i’m here for you, no matter what.”

             his breath catches in his throat. his nerves are getting to him and his heart is POUNDING. he lets out a shaky breath, forcing his eyes to meet george’s. “me too.” he says softly. it’s something he’s wanted to say for a long time. “it’s hard...it’s hard to NOT think about someone as amazing as you.”

           he BEAMS, smile spreading over his face. “really??” he asks, eyes looking down at himself before glancing over to the other. maybe he did look a little bit more put together than normal. he had purchased some new clothing - after all he had saved some more money up. “thank you.” he’s almost SURPRISED at the comment, but happy he noticed. “well uh - so do you. but you always look nice.”

             it’s been a ROUGH day. elliot’s not having it at all. he’s tearful and trying to hide it as best as possible. but of course george notices. elliot’s not really surprised, no one knows him as well as george. so instead of fighting it, he signs and nods his head. he moves over, crawing onto the other and resting in his lap, his head falling onto his chest. he doesn’t say anything, instead he just closes his eyes, taking in a deep breath.
