Beam Me Up Parrish (Parrish & Penny)

Penny had been going for a run, with her recovery underway, she had finally gotten to the point where she could get up at five am and go for a run but today she was only going to run a mile. She had changed clothes, making sure to add a few potions to her pockets in her hoodie just in case. Penny's only active power was Empathy and it was weak now. So she left a note for her parents to where she was going. She snatched a bottle of water from the fridge and headed out.

During the mile run she had been forced to make herself stop there. She had to take time to cool down. At least until she felt it. It was undeniable hate that she felt on rare occassions usually by demons causing her to turn around. Before she could react appropriatel to move fast enough, an energy ball was thrown at her and something in her woke up. She beamed in that moment before the ball of energy hit her and reappeared. "Holy crap!"

Tess was driving home, the pouring rain making the feat quite difficult. Her car, however, decided it didn't care one bit about that, and decided it was the right moment to leave her. The engine rattled and abruptly died, apparently out of nowhere and Tess barely had time to pull over before it stopped moving. It took a few minutes before he saw the distant lights of another car, so she got out of her Mustang and waved her arm at the approaching car. When it stopped, she ran to the passenger window, covering herself with her purse. “Could you give me a ride, please? My car just died on me.”
