hypnotisante - la chanson est un nom féminin, il faut donc accorder l’adjectif. Et bonne chance pour ton examen final, je me tiens les pouces !
Ah! Oui, c'est correct. Je suis fatiguée d'étudie pour l'examen, haha. XD
Merci! ^^

He’s talking about Paul Levitz right?
Roger Colby was actually discussing errors in writing a novel when he wrote this article, but it's still relevant.
Even with comic books, readers want to read a good story, and more importantly want to care about the characters they're reading about. But that's hard to do when your characters don't read like people with real human emotions and read like Hollywood stock characters instead. When you have a plot that takes the reader no where on top of that, it's a snoozefest all around.
A very good rule of thumb I follow is to always know your ending and know who your characters are. When you know how the story is going to end in your mind, it gives you something to focus on and you can spend the rest of your time building your characters and story to that point. On top of that, when you have an idea of who your characters are, you can provide them with the tools needed to move their story forward and actually get them to grow.
Of course, the comic industry differs a bit in this regard since you have editorial mandating the direction of your story, whereas with writing a novel you have more free reign. But I think even with that, you should be able to tell a good story. If other comic writers are able to still tell a good story even with editorial mandates, and on top of that, there have been other writers who have had an excellent handle on Power Girl and Helena Wayne (like Roy Thomas for example), Levitz doesn't really have many excuses to fall back on.

Oh Diane I want to cry. I’m buying it in the morning. I too can speak basic French and I know that too.

I really hope you arent’ disappointed. I might give it a watch too just to see it. I might do the same for the Manhunter episode but I am being cautious about expecting anything at all after the bad pilot
That's actually not a bad approach to take.
I wasn't too impressed by the pilot either, so I've approached this with a "proceed with caution" mindset as well.
All I can hope for now is that they really don't do too bad with Helena.
darkestknight32 replied to your photoset:I’m beginning to think there might be some...
I think her costume is too off the rack and not superhero enough. They could have been more faithful to the comic. There is nothing that doesn’t transfer to live action in Helena’s full body costume, not the Jim Lee belly window obviously
Well, given the parameters the show is set in, I think the costume actually works out just fine. Costumes that are visually and aesthetically appealing in comic books don't always translate well to other mediums, so adjustments had to be made to what Helena traditionally wears in order to make it fit.
I'll admit the trench coat kind of throws me off a bit, as I would have just preferred a standard leather jacket. And yeah, the suit also looks a bit generic and like you said, it was put together by pulling clothes off a department store rack.
But I think the producers of the show did incorporate aspects of Helena's famed 'rubber nun' from the 1990s into her outfit for the show, and that's evident by the purple hues in the costume. Though it is noticeably sans the large cross, as that aspect of her is being played down (along with the other aspects of her Italian identity aside from the mafia abstraction, from what I gather).
Other than this, I actually am not so much concerned with the authenticity and detail to costume as I am with the portrayal and how Jessica and the show's writers' and producers' stay true to the core of Helena Bertinelli's character.
I have noticed that the diverse characters are the first to go down whenever they have a huge crisis event - mas y muenos I think were finished off in Final Crisis and it has been a pattern. The characters that are not white seem to be fridged or killed or benched- eg Ryan Choi if he's returning where is he?, Lian Harper and on the benched side Linda Park West, Crispus Allen, Renee Montoya (what do they have against Rucka - oh ya ;D), Toni Monetti, Lorena Montez, Jackson Hyde
Mas and Menos appeared to have been killed off but showed up later so actually survived.
Had to look up Crispus because I never heard of him before.
Lorena Marquez
Anyway, yeah, horrible treatment of diverse characters. >:(
