Slughorn's Party {Amycus x Bella}
If there was one thing Amycus was thankful for at the moment, it was his ability to have patience when it came to Bellatrix Black. Sighing softly he ran a hand through his blonde hair, tousling it up only slightly in his attempt to keep himself entertained while waiting for the Head Girl to finish up preparing herself. She had completely taken over his bedroom (or their bedroom, at the moment) after she had thrown him into a nicely pressed suit and tossed him out, laying claim to every inch of furniture and he was sure when he returned to it later that night there would be a mess that greeted him.
Thumb running across the silk silver tie in his hands he glanced over at the ornate clock on the wall across from him, noting the time and lazily lifting his legs from the table he had rested them on, picking himself up with ease. He might as well finish himself off before she found her way out of the room, knowing she would only be annoyed if he wasn't completely ready to go.
Slughorn's party was always rather popular when it came to the more academically focused students, so it would surely be important arrive on time.
The tie went around his neck and he tilted his head back while he tied it without an inch of hesitance, knowing this routine like the back of his hand. Alecto and himself had attended many formal events in their earlier years, and continued to do so as well when they returned home. That, and most of the school attire required a standard Slytherin tie either way, so it was like second nature. Letting out a heavy breath as he tightened the knot and carefully tucked it underneath where the suit buttoned he turned to glance behind him and towards the staircase that led up to where his room resided. If she took any longer they were bound to be late - but he knew better than to rush the woman.
With a slight roll of his eyes he turned to set himself down on the black leather couches placed in the common room, messing with his cuffs and attempting to ignore how slowly time was passing while he waited.
