Oh, BOY are there a lot of options for you, friend! For starters, its always a safe bet to snag a wanted connection. The list is long, I know, but there is a pretty hefty variety of followers, sacrifices and god/goddess. 

You ALSO have the option of plucking up someone from the open pairings list. Again, variety with gods/goddess and sacrifices and followers. We still have one godless heathen - and several Deities without any sacrifices or followers.

Because I love them, there’s also the premades for a little extra oomph on inspiration. 

HOWEVER - I SHALL STILL NAME SOME PEOPLE I WOULD LOVE TO SEE GRACE MY DASH.

Hermes, for one. I’d love to see Tyr. And Janus. Seshat. Loki. Dalnim.  i’d love to also see some Supernaturals up in this binch, too. Bring me a Banshee. A werewolf. OH, FENRIR, bring me him. 

honestly, I could go on and write a very small novel for you, but I wont. I will, however, leave the floor open to our WONDERFUL members, and let them shout who they’d like to see.

Hello! How culturally sensitive is this group to the actual mythos and respect of the deities here? I'm a Heathen Pagan and I wonder mostly for the Norse gods. Additionally, would Loki be a welcome god here? I ask because, historically, Loki was not worshiped in the Viking age and has only recently (in the last 50 years or so) begun to gain traction as a Patron. Would we be permitted to explore that?

i’m going to do my best to answer your question, but if I somehow muck it up, please feel free to come back to me.

So, we here at In Darkness are very firm believers of creative freedom. We understand the complexities of the lore and stories that surround a lot of the deities already here, and encouraged to be here. There are some sensitive subjects encased within these stories that the writers can choose to dismiss from their particular muse’s story. We don’t have a strict set of stories that we expect people to follow because Mythology itself, all nationalities, is extremely fluid. Generally, if a Deity has a lack of information, i.e. chernobog, or conflicting stories, i.e. freya/frigg, the writer is free to dial down what would best fit their muse. 

We try to encourage and create a space that all writers can come to and explore all aspects of their character, whether god or not. so long as you’re not completely butchering a god or goddess’s story, we like to give you the space.

Also, Loki would absolutely be welcomed here, little love, yes. And so will you. I love me some heathens.
