The smell of burning is hard to ignore. Chaos and destruction is the law of the land, and they say there are fires underground and in the sky that have never gone out. You watch your feet and your head and stay as far away from the smell as possible.

You found a cluster of dark eggshells under the kitchen sink. You search all over for what creatures hatched from them, but find nothing. However, you feel things walking over your closed eyelids at night.
