The Darklight Festival is beginning in Lunule, and both Micah and Jasper are oddly out of synch with the mood of the season. Jasper decides a change of venue might help.
Bringing Back the Light, Ch. 10: Arrival of the Vanvases
Micah has worked himself into a corner: now people are looking to him to explain and fix the storm. Even he finds himself expecting it, and that is a very bad time to run face-first into his limitations. More improvised spells, more poor decisions, more near-death experiences, more cold, and the arrival of some friends with new information, if only they could communicate a little more clearly.
