AUGUST had been pretty sure he got the hours right. but walking inside and pulling the coat off his shoulders, the bar was so sparsely occupied that he had to stop and wonder if it was closing. it could be. he just wanted a drink tonight, and after having a LONG talk with his little brother earlier today he didn’t feel like drinking alone. seemed like he was going to get that if he wanted or not, by how it was looking. there were a few occupants inside, but it wasn’t exactly bustling. he wasn’t here to PICK ANYONE UP -- but he wanted to talk. which was why his feet moved him forward towards the bar top, coat draped over his arm because he wasn’t sure how long he was going to stick around. ( wasn’t sure if the bar was CLOSING UP or not. ) “hey,” he nods towards the bar tender. a man with messy hair and enough on his wrists and fingers to make him want to raise an eyebrow. he didn’t, of course. he had more tact than that. instead he was sitting on the stool, laying his coat over his legs and giving a skeptical glance around what he was now realizing was probably some DIVE. “always this slow?” it was one AM.
@darkmagiician liked for a starter.
