I feel everything he does has a reason, given the place the hotel is in, and his job as it’s keeper. idk man he does what he has to. ship them with: Him and Hell’s Chef was my first GHS ship and it continues to be so; cute husband-like spirits, but also low key with Haniwa, tho it’s more one sided if anything. brotp them with: Him and Hell’s Chef because they’re best friends before anything else. Also with Catherine and Fritz, vitriolic best buds at it’s finestneeds to stay away from: Again, I don’t entirely know which way this is meant to be so I’ll go with both ways; him to stay away from - Cactus Girl because while she’s clearly old enough to drink, she’s probably still a teen or young woman (tho it’s really no different from old ladies being cheeky with young adult men, but I’m thinking in terms of pairs I guess??? ) And for him to stay away for his own safety is impossible but Gregory Mama; she’s the main reason for him being … him, at his worst, but yeah if I could have it my own way, I’d want to keep him somewhere safe from the mother from hell.misc. thoughts: The depth of his character is my most favourite thing; I can say that about the entire show really but Last Train is very much a arc for Gregory that shows him outside the hotel, were he can be a guide to the lost souls, a place were he isn’t just his mother’s puppet. He’s so wonderfully complex but in a way that makes sense without so many loops to go through. Not many people go into it looking at Gregory as a character and still paint him as a villain when he’s more than just that. He is a wonderful ratty granpapa who is trying his best to keep his safe haven for lost souls in tact.
