Aight this is a bit of a different post but @darkmttrcat asked me a while back what some of my headcanons were for my favourite apex legends ship so I thought I'd just type them out here so they'd be cohesive ( ´ ▽ ` )b Just a mix of both ship headcanons and singular character headcanons for Caustic, Mirage, Octane and Bloodhound, and also a mix of fluffy/normal/smutty hcs
I tend to push aspects of myself onto characters I like so, for starters all these bitches have high libidos KSHDKWM,, very sexually open, confident people that embrace their sexuality and their high drive. I have this same headcanon for the rest of the legends but I thought to still list it here
They really like taking naps together,,, Caustic and Bloodhound don't get enough sleep and Mirage and Octane have made it a goal to get them better hours.
Mirage spends a long time on his hair when he gets ready for anything. He needs that shit lookin Good all day err day - even after sex the first thing he'll do besides clean up is fix his hair LMAO
SPEAKING of hair, bc Caustic and Bloodhound have long hair (Bloodhound MUCH more so but they're still lumped up together) Mirage and Octane LOVE playing w it, as well as the former two playing w each others. Braids, buns, ponytails, offering to brush it, the works.
Octane doesn't drink alcohol, and I am again projecting. He prefers other drugs, particularly psychedelics. He frequents weed, lsd, shrooms and ecstasy.
The other three enjoy alcohol, but vary w other drugs. Bloodhound will occasionally use shrooms, Mirage sometimes smokes weed and takes shrooms, and Caustic rarely uses shrooms. The latter leads a mostly sober life with the occasional exception, and especially so now that he's an older man. He was no stranger to drugs in his youth.
Caustic had a vasectomy in his 20s. Sex w Bloodhound is particularly nice for this reason.
They don't want kids. Again projecting. The thought of having kids disgusts them and they will make fun of you for even thinking they would, and rightfully so.
Bloodhound used to be a mercenary/assassin before joining the games.
The trend here is I project. These four totally love looking at gore online, and have no issue discussing morbid conversation. Seeing how the human body works, ways to be cautionary in life to avoid disaster, or just morbid curiosity is their reasoning.
Caustic works as a toxicologist/chemist, and a mortician. He worked previously as a medical examiner before settling on the latter career, along with his more on-the-nose scientific fields.
Bloodhound can Drink. They can throw back quite a few beers before they start to feel tipsy. They've been affectionately dubbed a Viking Drinker.
Octane likes being carried. The other three like carrying him. Win-win.
Bloodhound is a bottom, Mirage and Octane are switches, and Caustic is a top.
Bloodhound curvy. Wider waist, wide hips, sizeable bust, the works. They're also complimented on their legs quite a bit, and have gotten more comfortable wearing shorts and shorter skirts/dresses because of it.
Mirage can fucking ROCK a pair of heels. He and Renee, back in college, would sport matching heels together on a few occasions they had a night on the town. Pumps, stilettos, pole dancing platforms, he's got it covered, though they're never his shoe of choice. As he's gotten older he's worn them less and less, but on a rare occasion he will sport them.

Bloodhound: Icelandic/Faroese
Caustic: American, Russian ancestry
Mirage: American, Arab/Saudi ancestry
Using this as a chance to allude to one of the upcoming fics of mine, they're all a hell of a poker player. Caustic seems to just get lucky ass hands, Octane has Yet to ever lose a game if he's playing, Mirage can bluff like nobody's goddamn business, and Bloodhound has damn-near no tells. Piece of advice, I wouldn't play the round if they're at the table, and especially not if more than one of them are playing.
I could make this list go on for longer but I decided against it, since I think my upcoming fics will show off some more headcanons I have for them (˶⸃ ⴰ⸃˶)♡
