just finished writing the next chapter of kow!! god that was a lot of fun to write. i will update everyone once it's beta'd and posted >:3

how would darkness peering dan react to the “aw so cute” moment from that one interview (the one in all the jealous dan complications loll)

i got possessed and wrote a little thing about this

"You’re not subtle, you know," Phil says once the door is closed behind Jimmy. 

Dan stiffens and carefully doesn’t look at Phil. "I don’t know what you’re talking about." He does though; he knows exactly what Phil’s talking about and he curses Phil’s ability to see right through him always. 

"So you’re not planning Jimmy’s untimely demise right now?" Phil asks casually. Dan meets Phil's eyes, trying to gauge how he feels about this. Phil's expression is open, accepting, with no trace of judgement, just pure curiosity.  

"Do you think anyone would miss him?" It’s a genuine question and the answer to it matters quite a bit. Dan might want to kill Jimmy, but he doesn’t want to jeopardize what he and Phil have going for them right now. They're not chaotic twinks in Manchester anymore; they can't just do whatever they want and assume there will be no consequences. 

No matter how good Phil is at hiding evidence. 

"Yeah, Dan," Phil says softly. He reaches out to grab Dan's hips and pull him close. "I think he has too many people who care about him."

Dan pouts; Phil's right. He usually is. "You can't talk to him anymore then," he says instead of running after Jimmy and making him regret calling Phil cute like he really wants to do. 

Phil rolls his eyes, but it's with fondness. "What are you going to do if I do? Tie me up? Hide me away from the world?"

"Don't tempt me," Dan says with narrowed eyes. 

Phil looks thoughtful for a moment, then pulls away from Dan. "Maybe I'll give him a call right now, actually," Phil says loftily as he starts walking toward the couch where his phone is charging. "Have him come back up here and maybe we can– Ack!" Phil squawks as Dan tackles him onto the sofa and pins him there with the full weight of his body. 

Dan looks down at Phil darkly. "You should stop talking right now if you don't want me to commit a crime," Dan says, deadly serious.

"Maybe there's something else I could be doing with my mouth then," Phil says with a playful glint in his eyes. Then he reaches up, laces fingers in Dan's hair and pulls him down so their lips meet in a kiss that they both melt into immediately. 

Dan forgets about the interview pretty quickly after that.

I am really loving your darkness peering fics!! i literally had a note somewhere in my notes app from ages ago musing on the lack of phanfic that plays around with the whole internet stalking idea and you have done the concept perfectly, especially with the whole mutual folie à deux vibe (i’ve always felt like the idea of stalker dan would pair particularly well with a dialed-up-to-11 “aloof sociopath vibe, which i think is working for me” phil lol)

will enjoy following these fics so long as you’re enjoying writing them!

aaaa thank you sm!!!! i was also really wanting a fic exploring dan being a real stalker and phil just being completely turned on by that and i decided ykw IM going to write it!!! and im so glad i have been because everyone has been so so lovely and nice about it! my partner likes to joke that i am filling a much needed niche in the phandom haha

im having a LOT of fun writing these and i have a lot of smaller ideas for this verse swirling around in my head too, so im sure i will be spending a lot of time in this au!

Big fan of your creepy DnP fic <3 I woke my wife up bc I was freaking out when I found out Phil was also...fun. lol But also was listening to music earlier and if you haven't already, you should REALLY listen to 'I'm Gonna Getcha good' by Shania Twain. (along w/ making me think of actual Dan) It instantly made me think of your story.
