His eyes narrowed at the confirmation that the other had known about what was going on in his head. He then watched when Sasuke stood up from the water then move toward him. Uncaring about what he was seeing, he had seen it before, he would more than likely see it again. The village was quite open of course. So he found himself looking easily into the others gaze as they came closer. As Sasuke spoke of the who that was in his mind he nodded " Correct." He confirms. Having nothing to hide about it. What was Sasuke going to do, nothing. The situation was out of Sasuke and Neji's control as far as Neji was concerned. Neji was completely Orochimaru's to use as they had wished to use. Though it did intrigue Neji how insightful and how much Sasuke had come to know about what Orochimaru had been doing, to keep his favorite new vessel safe.  Hearing the next thing Sasuke had to say about ignoring Orochimaru. The bite in Sasuke's shoulder had given many of the same effects that Orochimaru's control on Neji had. But that was where it ended, some effect.

Neji tilt his head, turning his eyes away " You are, so, fucking, stupid. Do you know that, Uchiha?" Neji stated then turning his head away. It was easy, he supposed, for Sasuke to misunderstand the worst part of what Orochimaru was doing to Neji " You hear him too, right? But you have some control." Neji turned his head back toward the Uchiha, leaning in toward the other a bit " He's done something to me, your little bite on the neck is nothing to wave a stick at, in comparison." Pushing himself up, he slipped into the water, walking toward Sasuke and grinned, a sick, twisted grin toward the other " I don't want to kill you. No one here does." Neji says, his voice smooth, yet laced in that eerie venom. Lifting his left hand up he leaned in close to Sasuke, hanging his left hand over the others right shoulder. Moving his head in closer to Sasuke's left ear, his lips gently brushed against the shell of Sasuke's ear, his tongue slipping out slightly, licking along the edges " The Leaf will never let me back in as the hero."

" Also, that Neji, is dead." Neji whispered toward Sasuke, a almost all too quiet giggle slowly escaping from his lips "Orochimaru saved me, he got into my head. Literally, changed my entire mind, to see...How twisted this world is. How viciousness survives, where slavery is a path to an early death. Going back to Leaf, that's all i'd be. A slave, to my family. Here. I am free, gaining power. But most importantly. I am free of the guilt of destroying." Sliding his left hand off from Sasuke's shoulder he pulls away. Pulling his left arm back he laughed " I won't kill you." Suddenly his palm slammed, flat, full of chakra, right into Sasuke's chest. So hard the other would fly back into the water, landing onto their back " I'm your body guard. We are Missing Nin to the Leaf Village. You and I, together, are criminals, Sasuke. There is no returning home a hero. There is only this. Only this path, and wherever it takes us." Sluggishly, he pulls away, stepping out of the pool of water " Also, your wanting to die, is lame. I’m not going to kill you. That’s not why I am here, idiot." Neji says coldly toward the other as he's walking away.

When the other egged him on, Neji had simply ignored them. It was pretty easy, really. He was a trained ninja, after all. If he couldn't resist a little bit of egging between the two of them it was worthless. Though he hadn't felt quite right for a very long time. The other had been being rather difficult again. Orochimaru had often kept Neji around to deal with that kind of thing, often. Turning he stares down at the other, a smirk making it's way across his darkened lip " Sasuke..." The elder ninja finally said before reaching out to grab the others hair in his right hand, yanking their head forward quickly before in the next moment sending their skull smacking into the stone slab behind them. He blinked, his pale eyes shifting around for a moment before again looking toward the other. Lifting his left hand up he pulled back slightly before jabbing his fingers into the others chest, hitting a chakra point right next to Sasuke's heart. Calm and collected, but for the most part, it didn’t even seem like the other former Leaf Ninja had even SEEN Sasuke there “You mean, ‘couldn’t’ hurt a fly. I would definitely hurt a fly...” Neji corrected the other “Are you always going to be this weak? I thought you came here to Orochimaru become more powerful.”

Waiting to practice with his new teammate and Sasuke, Neji sharpened the blades of his daggers on some stones, sitting lotus style on the floor in the middle of the room as he had waited for them to arrive. Though they were late. Sasuke had always been late, so he thought nothing of it. As for the girl, he couldn't have cared less about what she did. She was just a toy for them both to chew on. Neji had managed to figure that out about three minutes into meeting the girl. She wouldn't leave him alone for weeks, not until he finally got her in bed. Then, the game had really seemed to get interesting. She didn't seem very interested in him after that. But he had gotten quite a bit of use out of her. A lot of pent up teenage sexual tension had been slightly eased from his shoulders, or his cock, whichever one would like to to think being 'relieved' was best. Thought it was getting fairly late. He had planned on doing more than just training today. Standing he tucked the blades away, safely and started to leave the room.

As he was walking down the hallway he caught the darkened figure of the pair, approaching slowly he watched them kissing for a moment. His eyes narrowing a bit, was he angry? Perhaps. Maybe, just a little bit. But not because she had been making out with the Uchiha. Neji couldn't quite place why he felt this way seeing what he had been seeing. As the girl was pushed back and his last name uttered he smirked " Oh, why are your growling, Uchiha, I see no fangs on you. You don't intimidate me." Neji sniped at Sasuke, harshly. Then he took a step closer to the other, leaning a little at his waist and snickering harshly under his breath, his hair slightly falling forward from off his shoulders as he further listened to Sasuke speak "No? Doesn't it? Are you that ignorant of what is going on here?" He glances to Akari "I see." Neji tilt his head slightly, then pulled away standing straight once more " By all means. Have her." He guessed that that would be the closest Sasuke was ever going to get to him, was by having his dirty seconds.

Watching the Uchiha turn on their heel then he stares after the other and then nodded at the others assumption of power "Good to know. I guess it turns out good for me either way." Neji commented before turning away and heading down the opposite direction from the other two, humming eerily as he made his way down the hallway. A few days later Neji had Akari by the throw and a blade in her chest, blood spilling out onto the already blood stained floor. The girl had put up quite a fight. But clearly was no match for the Hyuga all in all. Yanking the blade free from the grip of the girls innards and flesh, a sickening sucking noise coming with it. He threw his arm out straight, sending a splatter of blood along the stained floor. A twisted smirk on his face before he lets her body go and drop to the floor the last breaths leaving her in sickened, wet, gurgle. Neji turned then and walked away from the body, stepping back out in to the hallway just as Orochimaru was approaching, seeing the look on the teenagers face the sannin approached ever so cautiously before ordering Kabuto to clean up the little mess the Hyuga had made, and attempt to calm the Hyuga down leading him away, a hand petting along Neji's head.

Bizarre Situations        

Our muses have stumbled upon an ancient ruin full of seemingly alien technology.

Walking into the recently made cave ahead of Sasuke, he paused for a moment as he watched the walls pulse with a strange glow to them, whatever had been splattered upon them on impact was still active. The Hyuga didn’t want Sasuke to be in danger, though he knew if the other wanted to go, he couldn’t stop them “i’ve never felt anything like this, before.” Neji commented then before continuing down the slop that was dug into the earth. Slipping on some of the glowing gunk he dropped to the slippery rock before dropping down into the shaft of the earth. His chakra being eaten away by the substance he had been stepping in, causing him to disconnect with the rock he was originally walking along.

Plunging over a cliff he dropped into a pool of water at the bottom of a crater inside the earth. Swimming toward the top he gasped for breath. Neji looked around for a moment not seeing anything but glowing splatters of strange liquid around the hole in the earth. Moving, he pushed himself out of the faintly tainted glowing water and uneasily managed to move himself to a flat surface “ Sasuke! I’ve found something….not of this world.” Though he couldn’t tell where the other had been at that moment, surely they had seen him fall down the slope “ Sasuke?”

A right pale hand pressed against blood soaked black cloth, squeezing at the wound in his stomach. Neji gulped, turning his head back as he heard the others screaming from somewhere in the trees. He could have easily escaped them, he wanted to imagine. But that would have ended up risking his mission. Gasping for a moment, he reached out to grab onto a tree. Sasuke had clearly lost any sense of his humanity. Something Neji was struggling with, still, even with his personality these days. As sadistic as he could become, he still was dealing with that side of him. Moving his left hand from the tree, he pressed it to his head as it throbbed, Orochimaru’s penetrating voice warning him not to harm the Uchiha who would become his new body. Neji instead chose to just force himself to move away from the other. The retreat had come a little too late. But he managed to escape, despite the displeased Orochimaru in his head. Threatening him with any injury done to Sasuke, being done back to him ten times worse “ Shut up…Shut up…”

Taking a step he forced himself from the tree. The injuries on is face had made it hard to see, his hearing was a bit off. But he could tell Sasuke was still somewhere behind him. Dragging his injured leg the Hyuga pressed forward, blood trickling down his legs and smearing on to the dirt with each step he took, a small drag mark followed faintly behind his left foot. After a few minutes he stopped, seeing a cliff ahead of them “ Dammit…Of course.” Neji hissed, slamming his left hand to the side of a tree. Making his way toward it as quick as possible, he stared down into the tree’s below “Hm.” His byakugan activated as he assessed the area. Before turning it off as he heard a noise behind him. Shifting a bit he faced the Uchiha “Ah. There you are, Sasuke. Isn’t this a fun game of cat and…Uchiha trying to get rid of his competition…” Neji pointed out, smirking a bit, some blood dripping down from his mouth “Attacking me from behind, and while I am not ready. Yet, you have the gall to call me the coward.” Still Orochimaru had been warning him, not to harm the other.

“Shut up.” He whispers, closing his eyes as he tried to block out the feelings that came with hearing that mans voice. Panting, his breaths had become a little more shallow, walking to the cliff. Raising his left hand he concentrated his chakra there “ I can kill you. I should have just-” Wincing a bit “ I should just kill you.” Glaring at Sasuke, Neji’s jaw clenches as Orochimaru’s chakra starts burning inside his body “But he won’t…fucking, let me…” Stepping back, Neji starts to lightly giggle “ HE WON’T LET ME! You brought me to him! And he did this to me!” This was worse, worse than the seal. What ever Orochimaru was doing to his mind, it was worse. The giggles grew more manic, and less like giggling as he continued on bringing his hands to his head he tilt his head back, standing straight “ He’s always in my head. I can–I can’t take it! Anymore!” Neji screamed “ I can’t fucking take it.” He had never wanted to be a body guard. He never wanted to be forced give up his life for someone elses! Not since the day he promised Hinata. Before he knew better.

Neji turned as he heard the other saying that to him. Of course they had been too proud to say anything sooner than just then to say something to him. Bringing his left hand to his hip, he leaned into it a bit before leaning in toward Sasuke “ This is the part where I would tell you to crawl then, if you cannot walk.” He sneered a bit, as if expecting they would drop to their knee’s and began to crawl after him “On the ground, where you belong, Uchiha, at my feet, and behind me.” He pulled away then, turning his head so he didn’t have to look at the pathetic male he called his partner, in crime, with a ‘tch’ he looked back and started toward the other grabbing them by the shoulder and starting to yank them toward a tree “ Come on, let’s get it set, and assess the damage. Then go from there…”

Neji’s eyes shift toward the other “ Yes. We should report to Orochimaru.” Walking after Sasuke, he stepped over one of the bodies of the medical staff of the building they had stayed out the night before. An unfortunate medic who had asked Neji too many questions, their brutally beaten body still twitching even hours later. Neji turned his gaze away then, stepping out into the hallway and keeping his right arm tucked away to prevent further injury to it “ At the very least, we got what we came for.”
