Oh my gosh this has probably already been requested but can you a Ginny/Luna hc? Maybe on a date/after the date or something

so this is for the @hprarepairnet ship spotlight week! luna and ginny are being featured. 

basically, their first date was a disaster. 

well, the beginning of it was in ginny’s eyes anyway. 

ginny wasn’t the type to plan things; she was very much an improviser.

but she was so nervous for her date with luna that she tried to plan everything.

let’s just say this made ginny stutter and stumble over all her words, and she even spilled her spaghetti all over the front of luna’s white dress.

ginny was so embarrassed that she excused herself from the table and rushed out of the restaurant to catch her breath.

she was surprised when luna followed her out shortly after carrying her jacket.

“what’s wrong, ginny?” she asked her, “why are you acting so different from usual? i love your usual self.”

ginny flushed and rubbed her palms together like she did every time she was nervous.

“i-i just didn’t want to mess this up,” she confessed, “you agreeing to go on a date with me is just so important. it’s everything i have wanted for such a long time. i messed things up with harry. i don’t want to mess things up with you, too.”

luna’s face was neutral as she walked forward, but she gently cupped ginny’s cheek with her hand.

ginny swore she was on fire.

“there is no reason to be afraid,” luna told her, “you’re all i have ever wanted and more.”

ginny wanted to gain her confidence back to kiss her, but she was frozen.

she could not believe her words.

she blinked a few times, and she was even more shocked when luna leaned down and kissed her first. 

it was soft and gentle.

it was like melted butter.

ginny moved closer and went deeper into the kiss, and luna responded by running her hands through ginny’s hair.

ginny moaned slightly as they pulled apart.

luna put their foreheads together and ginny closed her eyes.

she expected luna to say something romantic next, but she was surprised by luna’s casual words.

“don’t worry, ginny,” she told her, “i paid the bill before i left to find you.”

ginny couldn’t help but laugh and pulled luna into her arms.

she buried her head in her neck.

and that’s when she knew she was ridiculous for trying to plan every single move on this date.

luna was always herself, and ginny should be too.

Hi! I have a question about your icons. Do you ever manually get rid of a background of a picture (to make it into an icon) and if you do, how is that done? If not where do you find pictures without backgrounds/with blank backgrounds (especially if they're from a tv show or movie) They're beautiful btw! I love them.

Hey cuuutie ! Thank you a lot ❤ I actually always cut the background out myself because I would have no idea where to find pictures without a background tbh haha. It’s actually a very easy technique ! I’ll try to explain it under the cut.

Like I said, it’s veeery easy and even more easy because the cutting out doesn’t have to be too perfect for an icon because the picture will be very small. 

So first of all select the pen tool and set it to a good size (I normally set it to 30-40 but it really depends on how big your picture is). Then press Q and after that start to draw on the area you want to have on the icon. There should now be this red colour. 

Now go on and draw over the whole area that you want to have on the icon (and don’t worry, like I said above it doesn’t has to be too perfect because you’ll make the picture a lot smaller for the icon). When you’re finished press Q again. After that selcect one of the selecting tools (any selecting tool is fine) and right click on your selection - ‘Select Inverse’. After that right click on your selection again and choose ‘layer via copy’. Now create a new file (100x100) and drag the cutted out person on the layer. Go to ‘Edit’ - ‘Free Transform’ and make the person as small as it needs to be (press shift while making it smaller) and that’s basically it.

I think that really is the easiest way to cut out stuff (especially for icons because it doesn’t have to be perfect) but there are a lot of other techniques too. But that’s definitely the technique that works best for me. I hope that helps a bit ❤ If you got any other questions, don’t feel shy to ask me again !

advice / compliment: first of all i really like your url :) also the theme you’re using is very nice! my only advice would be to create more pages, like an about page (so people can get to know you a bit more) or a page for your links and tags. overall your blog is soft and pretty and i’m honestly so glad i found it because omg it’s filled with things i enjoy hehe ~
