Some absolute cockrocket of a motherfucking dickbag has decided to upload the amazingly talented @darkwriterxx94’s fics to wattpad without permission and without accreditation. So if y'all could click here and let the ‘author’ know that shit isn’t on, it would be much appreciated. She acknowledges in her profile that she hasn’t written any of the stories on her account which is just fucking insane and ludicrous.

Seriously. Darkwriter is honestly one of the best and hardest working fanfic writers I’ve ever come across. But nobody deserves to have their stuff uploaded all over the place without permission.

And do me a favor. If you’re ever reading a fic and you really feel like you’ve read it before, copy and paste a line directly into google. And if you’ve suddenly discovered that someone is plagiarizing, DO SOMETHING. Message the original author. Message the site hosting the plagiarized work and tell them where they can find the original, and then message the DICKBAG who steals other people’s work and tell them they’ve been caught.

Hey, I love your blog, particulary because it relates to my thesis on Fans using fanfiction and fan art to bring diversity to media such as with Harry Potter. Do you happen to know any writers that write fanfiction on racebent harry potter characters? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OOH. Okay, I really find that aud-works did a phenomenal piece that dwelt primarily on Harry’s gender perception and I know they definitely headcanon as a marginalized individual of color.

I know at one point, Dr. Ebony Elizabeth (on twitter) was doing a study on fan works that incorporated race specifically. 

I have a link to the works we do know of that incorporate race into HP, and hopefully that’s helpful to you as well.
