“Have you come to gloat?”
@darlingdeceiver // (cont.)
“In this area of morality, one tends to make a few enemies,” Loki said, turning to hide his bruised eye.
“It’s nothing I’m not used to– my brother is rather burly, you see.”
‘ Used to or not, one shouldn’t go around in such a manner, a waste of perfect beauty, don’t you agree. ’
He wasn’t exactly flirting, but it was a show of concern, turning Loki’s head by his chin to get a better look at his eye. The show of disappointment, even anger, was evident. ‘ My brother younger shall be even more furious than I if he finds out you know. ’
Taneleer let himself reach over to a table, pick up a cold bottle of wine, gently pressing it to his eye, ‘ I may have a book of rare spells you can use, it will erase it, if you like. ’

Wine was Loki’s favourite tipple of choice when stressed. Particularly if it was a smooth and mellow red of a texture that seemed to glide down like silk, for it gave him a buzz that was more friendly and relaxed than his usual demeanour.
Unfortunately for him, it also loosened both his tongue and his sensibilities. A day spent idly drinking and poring over the Collector’s vast library had led to him pushing the books aside to converse with his host instead– which inevitably led to a rambling recounting of his story and his woes. Humiliating.
But really, it was Tivan’s fault, and not the wine’s, that Loki decided kissing him would be a good idea at all. The Elder was always so casual in his light touching, and it wasthat which led to such a moment– again, not his over-consumption of alcohol.
Loki knew, of course, that this was a mistake, but instead of retreating or spewing apologies after the first mistake, he leaned in for a second. Still close-mouthed but firmer this time, he kissed Taneleer with a drunken sigh that ended abruptly with a hiccup.
Definitely not the wine’s fault.
The kiss was sudden, but not unwelcome, brought on by a gentle touch to pale cheekbones, wine buzzed on his lips, carefully fogging his mind and judgement, refusing to make his body pull away from the hold of the serpent that had his scaled frame wrapped around him. He pressed back easily, gloved fingers coming to hold at the back of his throat, pulling him closer. Taneleer grabbed at Loki’s waist, holding him through the rather firm kiss before he himself had to force himself away.
‘ You’re intoxicated. ’
The words passed his lips with a thick chuckle, hand coming to pat softly at the ivory skin that contrasted on his own. Loki would never be as so brash to kiss him in such a way while sober, it was clear, and he wasn’t going to give anymore than a kiss to the drunken fellow, he wouldn’t allow himself to harm Loki that way.
‘ Allow me to put you to bed, my witch. ’
@darlingdeceiver
‘ So you find it completely necessary to want to handle a completely hostile deadly viper that is 12 times larger than you while you’re drinking. No, no thank you, how about we go lounge with the harmless predator cats that lay on you if you feed them raw meat. ’
