fried bacon, maple syrup, and the sweet scent of pancakes mingle in the air. it’s what he calls the eddie munson special. on one plate, he already has it all situated for her to dig into. the presentation isn’t chef level impeccable, but the smell of everything alone would be more than enough to entice anyone to grab a plate. on top of the pancakes drenched in maple syrup is a whipped cream smile that might not be included in the usual recipe, but … what can he say? it’s custom made for his truly. 

“‘ey, sugar, you’re just in time.”  he loads up his own plate and turns the fire off on the stove. placing both their shares on the table, eddie makes a big show of pulling her seat out for her before taking his across from @ensnaring.  “what you’re lookin’ at here is — the eddie munson special. you got pancakes, you got bacon, you got scrambled eggs… better than your local diner, that’s for sure.  and, you wanna know why?”  he grins, that boyish charm spread across his face from dimple to dimple.  “‘cause it’s made with a shitload of chocolate chips.”   and love.  but, he’ll leave the cheesiness out till later.
