You love her, you hate her, but you mostly hate her, time for some Dartha headcannons and facts!

* A lot of her is based on toxic management I either heard about or witnessed growing up. In particular, two of my mom's bosses.

* She's literally just evil just because. I thought it would be cool to have a villain that just was. No sad backstory.

* In fact, she had a really happy backstory! Two loving parents who doted on her but were careful not to spoil her. She even did the equivalent to girl scouts when she was growing up!

* Her interest varies depending on what multiverse she's in. For the main one we know, it's dolls. For "Guns & Roses", it's games. There are other worlds where she has hobbies like collecting rocks and minerals, and even musical theater

* Her appearance also changes from universe to universe! That musical universe? Her for is Daniel Radcliffe.

* Speaking of looks, I designed her so she'd be very disorienting as a villain. She looks more like a soccer mom!

* She actually has a REALLY great diversity program. If she weren't also evil she'd be hailed as a very clever manager.

* A lot of what she does is rooted in her just being bored and treating people weaker than her like Sims. She doesn't like being bored.

* She hates being the joke even more. You want to get her to stop laughing? Laugh AT her. She has surprisingly thin skin.

* I've been hesitant to pinpoint a sexuality on her because it feels mean to group her in with anyone. Nobody deserves that. That being said, I have a personal headcannon that she hates herself for having a crush on Agatha Harkness.

* She loves softer foods like yogurt because it can go from her machine right to being absorbed by her lil sluggy body

* The Barbie Movie made her feel an emotion and she was sick for three days from it.

* She doesn't like things that bore her and she hates having her time wasted. She has zero respect for villains that act out of personal vendetta. It's too many emotions for her liking, and emotions are gross

* Her favorite musician is Enya, followed by whale noises.

* She loves the detail work of dolls. It's a lot of the appeal to her. She can spend hours fussing over how to position a doll on display correctly.

* Her favorites are ball joint dolls

* She's been regrowing her collection in-between plotting revenge. It's coming along nicely.

Hi do you know which chapter Sovieshu consoled Evalie?

I know Dartha was consoled by Angel in sidestory chapter 23

I just want to draw a conclusion.

Hmm yes I think it's 34th chapter of the sidestories. "You're finally mine".

The scene was emotional for both sisters.

In Evalie's case she found out that Ishka family is her parents and Dartha was her sister. Before that, Dartha saved her life and fell into the water (she's alive but Evalie thought she died trying to save her). So the guilt overwhelmed her and she started crying loudly in the garden. Sovieshu heard her crying and observed her from distance.

Evalie saw him standing there and she saw Sovieshu wearing the same hurt expression as hers and she finally realised his pain.

She hit herself on her left chest (just like Sovieshu did to himself) and said, paraphrasing " It hurts here, your majesty. How did you endure it?" while crying.

Sovieshu understood that she was feeling guilty over hurting someone close cause he recognised her pain.

He gave her his handkerchief to dry her tears and he thought bitterly " How did I endure? More like how am I still enduring it." Insinuating that he was still suffering from guilt.

In Dartha's case, Angel didn't realise her pain but hugged her to console her. Even though he was planning to use her, I think he was genuine in that moment.

And in case of Evalie and Sovieshu, both recognised their pain. They were both broken by guilt and pain. Sovieshu handling her the handkerchief was very appreciate at that moment cause, Evalie was very vulnerable and any physical contact would spread ugly rumours about them like wildfire.

Both were very emotional scenes and heart wrenching.

Since I talked about Gideon and Pyko, I wanted to back up and talk about Dartha a little bit.

I had a lot of ideas for her, including a Lassorian but bigger, but there was something amusing about her being her like, some lady in yoga pants. She is that lady at Starbucks who is being passive aggressive to the barista. She is in a Hobby Lobby bickering over prices. She is the worst and a kind of worst people tend to recognize.

I have a background in management, and at her base, she's based on toxic management. She knows just the right words to not cross certain lines, but her contempt for those who helped make her money is palpable. She works microagressions and mean humor.

So why dolls? Her concept was reverse-engineered. I pictured her as a Z-List villain from some forgotten back issue of Rocket Raccoon comics, like some little old lady with an army of robot dolls. And then the thought was "what would that translate to in the 2020s"? So a maniac with an obsession for dolls was born! Also, in my real life, I'm a doll collector, and that can be an insane world to be a part of.

She has no sad backstory; her family was supportive and successful, she has no trauma to speak of. She's just a bully who is creative, smart, and capable, and finds treating living beings like playthings *fun*. At her core Dartha is like most bullies -- pretty spineless! So her true form is based on a banana slug. This is based on a real mascot for a college, the Banana slugs.

Dartha was originally supposed to meet her end, but she was well recieved, I had fun with her, she was well received, and after an afternoon of watching "Bluey" with my nieces, specifically some Muffin-heavy episodes, I realized there's things worse than death. Namely, being cared for by a small and enthusiastic child. It's everything someone like her deserves.
