i hc eli as mexican so im 99% gonna be dissapointed

i don’t really have a specific eli headcanon, but as of now i’m expecting they’ll make him white. whatever zahn’s talents, unfortunately including any sort of diversity in his books isn’t among them, and i have a very bad feeling that’ll follow into this comic

(but hey, i can always ignore canon making everyone white. i mean that’s basically what i did with car’das, although admittedly the one vaguely canon picture of car’das that exists is from a japanese book cover and is actually young george lucas, so i find that...really easy to ignore)

the only place i know of is a few webseries but that doesnt reach a wide audience like tv so it doesnt have the same effect of normalizing it? :(

right like ppl saying “the internets gay enough” doesn’t count like you need to see yourself on TV and in big movies not just webseries/indie films that are rated R
