Shedinja Nicknames:

Plot Armour (Oooh! This is just too gooood!!! I love it! It’s both clever and witty! And it perfectly references Shedinja’s Wonder Guard ability in a manner that I’m sure you’d appreciate. Ahaha! Good one!)

Deadweight (Oopft! What a brilliant nickname! I love it for its double meaning, i.e. Shedinja literally weighs almost nothing, and yet it is an empty dead shell. The Pokémon is barely alive and is said not to breathe! There’s also the triple meaning, i.e. the Pokémon could essentially be useless on the team if the opponent has counters for it—my favourite being weather damage)

Hollows / Holloween / HollowKnight (The following are a series of nicknames that were derived from the chilling, empty anatomy and circumstance of the Pokémon. While the latter is a direct reference to the acclaimed videogame “Hollow Knight”, it also strongly relates to the Pokémon Shedinja, as both ‘it’ as well as the protagonist are literally hollow shells. “Holloween” is a clever pun that comprises the empty nature of the Pokémon, as well as its association with the ghost-type! Furthermore, everyone knows that the Halloween season is when the ghost types come out to play!)

Husk / Void (These are stellar nicknames that continue the theme and pattern of being inspired by Shedinja’s empty shell motif. They sound dreary when said aloud, and there is something almost finite and conclusive about these nicknames— ah ha! It’s probably the added fact that Shedinja only has 1 HP and will likely be your final resort in battle.)

WonderWall (Oh! Oh! This one is a personal favourite of mine. It’s clever, it makes perfect sense competitively, and there is something wonderfully sublime, complete, and thematic about a nickname that directly hints at or is associated with its Pokémon’s ability. This nickname perfectly hits the mark!)

Hollowpoint (It sounds sharp! And as a thematic nickname, it is sure to present your Shedinja as powerful! It is also inspired by the empty nature of the Pokémon, and as a superb fusion of the words “hollow” and “point”, it portrays Shedinja as a dangerous, powerful, and mysterious Pokémon that never should be underestimated!)

Soulless (LOL! Okay, I like this one for its simplicity. It gets straight to the point, makes the Pokémon sound badass and ruthless, and more importantly, it directly references the lifeless nature of the Pokémon— I mean, come on! The thing doesn’t even breathe!!!)

Skins / Skinner (This is an awesomely grim and gruesome-sounding pair of nicknames! Not only is Shedinja the literal moulted skin of a Pokémon that has come to life and possibly to haunt your dreams, but they also sound dangerously psychotic, and I love it!!! Yum!)

Shedinja Facts:

It is a discarded bug shell that came to life. Peering into the crack on its back is said to steal one's spirit.

A strange Pokémon—it flies without moving its wings, has a hollow shell for a body, and does not breathe.

Shedinja is a peculiar Pokémon. It seems to appear somehow in a Poké Ball when a Nincada evolves. This bizarre Pokémon is entirely immobile.
