I just got over a mild cold and I wanted to write some little headcanons about the BOTW Champions and how they would act if they got sick. (Should I do this for the TOTK Sages too?)

Link...
~You don't know he's sick until he suddenly bends over coughing. He then becomes very sheepish about it and explains how he didn't want to miss work.
~Once its out in the open, he completely surrenders to whoever is taking care of him. He lets them make him food and give him medicine and such.
~His favorite thing to eat when sick is Creamy Heart Soup and fruit salad.
~He will curl up on the couch with a blanket and a book Zelda lent him and just chill there for the day until he feels better.
Zelda...
~Doesn't mind getting sick too much because she realized it can give her a short break from her ever-looming responsibilities.
~Will make herself a cup of tea, get some books, and sit there and read for hours.
~Will eat lots healthy foods to help her recover faster (she does have things to get back to) , her favorite being Vegetable Omelets and Mushroom Skewers.
~She takes hot baths before bed and tends to go through far more tissues than she'd like to admit.
Revali...
~Is in complete denial that he is sick, despite being obviously so. He will insist that he's completely fine and will go down in flames on that standing.
~Absolutely hates being bedridden. You will have to tie him to that bed to get him to stay in it. He despises "wasting time lying around when I could be training and--"
~Becomes utterly miserable. He gets extra snippy with everyone and and is all-round moody. He hates not being at 100%.
~Once he finally settles down, he will sleep for hours. When he wakes up, he'll hunt down some Poultry Pilaf or Seafood Riceballs.
Mipha...
~Basically doesn't get sick (probably has something to do with her healing powers).
~On the rare occasion that she does get sick, she takes very good care of herself, getting an adequate amount of sleep and makes sure not to push herself too hard.
~Enjoys orange juice and toast when she's sick.
~Will wander around in a blanket when sick, and spend time drawing.
Urbosa...
~Is very in-tune with her body and how it functions, and knows immediately when she's coming down with something.
~Is very careful not to over-exert herself when she's under the weather and lets people know she's not doing well, especially if its something contagious.
~Will leave a detailed schedule for the following week for her second-in-command to use while she is resting.
~Will make herself Mushroom Risotto or Salt-Grilled Greens
Daruk...
~Doesn't like being sick mostly because he can't breathe right. And it gets on his nerves. Like, really badly.
~Zelda once told him steam helps clear the sinuses and now every time he'll go up the hot springs and will sit there for hours because it helps him breathe.
~When he gets back from the hot springs, he'll cook himself up a nice Rock Roast and sit on the bridge over the entrance to Goron City.
~Gets little sleep when he's sick, due to the fact that his clogged nose keeps him up.
Love the headcanon think you could do a Headcanons with all the champion's reactions to them in the castle and a portal opens up and a human from our world comes through and the human had a prop of the master sword but thy thought it was real.
bonus if Link already had the master sword.
This one cracked me up.
It's long, so it'll be under the cut.
It's just one of those days. Y'know, one where you play around with your replica Master Sword like a hooligan. Not everyone leaves it propped up on some wall, or protected in a glass case like they're in Skyrim— no, you like to stand around doing poses and making whooshy sounds.
As you're busy doing that, you're suddenly blinded by a flash of light, almost hitting yourself in the face when you put your hands up to block it. After it finally dies down, you decide to take a peek.
There is a portal. In your house.
Nice.
You've read enough comics to know where this is going, so you walk straight in. It's a weird feeling, like a force is pulling you forward, your feet dragging against the non-existent floor beneath as you struggle to keep up.
Emerging from the other end, you have to blink a few times to let your eyes adjust. It's definitely darker in here than in your house, and is that... lilac?
"What in the Goddess's name..." "Well, I didn't expect that." "A person?" "They could be dangerous—" "...!" "What sorcery is this?"
The portal shrinks to a close behind you, trapping you in what appears to be a very familiar castle.
"No way..."
Standing before you are the great Champions of Hyrule... and a lot of guards. With swords. Sword guards. Even Link has drawn his sword, brandishing the blade of Evil's bane in a more defensive pose rather than anything. He glances down at the sword in your hand.
His eyes widen for a second, before immediately shifting back to you. Whether he cares or not, you couldn't tell just yet.
Zelda is the first to break the silence, stepping forward and introducing herself. This snaps you out of your stupor, shaking your head and awkwardly responding to the princess in kind.
It doesn't take much convincing for her to dismiss the guards. After all, you're not exactly the most threatening person. And you're holding the Master Sword for goodness' sake! Bad people don't do that, right?
"Who... are you, exactly?" Finally we address the elephant in the room. It's at this moment where you pause, unsure of how to answer. A large part of you doesn't really want to explain why you were swinging around a replica of the Master Sword. But also, you can't have them thinking you're a hero. That would lead to a lot of issues.
By now you can tell that Link is intrigued. His eyebrows lower a bit, like he's thinking of all the reasons you would have such an item in your possession. Daruk and Urbosa share a look; they know this will be... complicated. Standing beside them is Mipha, who is watching the situation unfold with careful attention to Link's reactions. Revali remains uncharacteristically quiet.
Zelda prompts you again, and Urbosa crosses her arms. You can sense they're growing a little impatient. Not that you blame them.
And so you spill the beans. You're not really anyone too important, and what you're holding is just a copy made by a random dude who probably wasn't expecting anyone to look too closely at it. But if it isn't darn convincing...
"Hm, yes. Now that I'm looking at it, it's quite clear that it's a replication. Nothing could measure up to the craftsmanship of the divine."
Don't quit your day job Revali.
But really, he doesn't mean any harm. He's just saying this to reassure himself, because for a moment he thought there was another person who could be the Hero that wasn't him.
"But, why do you have it?" Mipha asks suddenly, bringing the group's attention to you once more. "I'd like to know that too," Daruk agrees, tilting his head as he scratches it. "What kind of world requires that many Master Swords?"
Cue everyone explaining that it's not a working replica of the Master Sword. "Ohh, got it."
Daruk may misunderstand sometimes, but he's not stupid. "Just because it's a regular sword doesn't mean it's useless. Lots of weapons are made to look fancy. Just look at Urbosa!"
"But having it specifically be the Master Sword... Are you perhaps a fan of Link's?" Zelda chuckles a bit with her question, but you don't feel like she's judging you. Meanwhile Link is becoming bashful at the idea of having a fan.
"That's pretty much it, actually."
They weren't expecting you to admit it right away— "Hmph. Really?" "Now that's something you don't hear every day." "I think it's sweet." "You must be pretty dedicated." "Quite a big fan, aren't you?"
You're pretty sure they're not judging you. Well, Revali definitely is. But otherwise they just see it as a natural consequence of Link being the Chosen Hero. After all, plenty of children dream of being like him... How old are you again?
No but seriously, as much as it would be played for laughs if an NPC were to be this big of a fan, I don't think they'd consider you anything other than someone who wants to make the world a better place. If you guys grew closer, they'd (Urbosa, Daruk, Mipha, Zelda, Revali) probably tease a little about it (ie "look at number one super fan over here" when you look at Link for too long) but otherwise they'd probably just want you to be a fan of them too.

➵ revali is perusing his newfound divine beast, checking for any secrets that might give him a leg up against a certain ganon when he hears the clearing of a throat and the beginning of your introduction.
➵ he listens curiously as you make a general introduction of youself, however, his interest is peaked when he hears that you were the original pilot of his divine beast.
➵ at first he feels a rush of protectiveness wash over him, as he’s come to identify greatly with being the champion of medoh, or rather the only one in recent history.
➵ but that’s another thing: you sound so modern, certainly not someone from a hundred thousand of years ago. its odd, and yet he feels himself becoming more and more intrigued by the second.
➵ you pose a question to him, asking if medoh is up to the standards of whoever might pilot the beast next. it was then that it truly dawned upon him, that these beasts were not only tools for defeating ganon, but also a legacy of which he will not be the first or last.
➵ after hearing your closing remarks, bidding him safe flights and calm winds aboard your prized medoh, revali sits upon one of the large wings, gazing out over his village.
➵ revali wonders if the person behind the voice ever sat here as well, and how many others have done the same.
mipha
➵ it was undeniable, at least to mipha herself, that she was utterly intimidated by the giant form of vah ruta. though she would never like to admit this, it was true, and it was something she was currently dealing with, standing outside the beast gazing at its opening.
➵ it was to be her first time entering the beast, for which she hoped a heaven sent epiphany would come and wash away her worries. tentative steps, and the small patter of fins upon the hard material sounded. mipha made her way into the main stairwell.
➵ contrary to her former beliefs, mipha’s prayer came true and a voice resounded through ruta. though, strangely enough, the voice had a ring of friendliness and familiarity.
➵ mipha was greeted with a hello as well as your name, age, and a couple other oddball facts. however, the one that was most shocking to mipha was your place as the original pilot of ruta.
➵ here she sat, in the middle of the cold hollow beast, being greated by a warm and inviting voice that said they had once been in her place.
➵ immediately she thought back to the story of ruto, a zora princess of the past, and the same feeling of familiarity passed. though your name was not ruto, and it was unlikely that you were also a zora she couldnt help feeling a kindship with you.
➵ how interesting, only a mere second ago vah ruta felt so cold and distrusting, however, with the grace of your voice and your story, mipha finally felt at ease.
➵ but just like that the recording was over, already she missed the ring to your voice, but somehow she knew that all over the divine beast was you. your little markings, and memories etched into the walls.
➵ it was a wonderfull thing, knowing that one day her memories too would join yours. ngl i almost made myself cry with this one im so soft for mipha
daruk
➵ daruk bid a booming farewell to the other gorons watching as he boarded vah rudania for the first time, feeling the swelling of pride and even more warmth spreading through him. it was no wonder the kind of honor he felt being able to call himself a champion.
➵ the elated cries of his bretheren could be heard as the hatch to rudania slowly closed, leaving him to finally be able to be alone with the divine beast.
➵ but something wasnt right, it was so isolated, and daruk already felt a shroud of loneliness hovering over him. he always had someone to protect, that was what kept him going in the middle of a battle. but even though the sounds of his people had just faded away he was lost.
➵ daruk knew that he was fighting for all of hyrule, for the gorons, princess zelda, as well as link. but for some reason, being alone in the dim light of the beast separated him from these things.
➵ suddenly, a greeting rang through rudania, startling daruk out of his short contemplation. you introduced yourself as the first pilot of the divine beast and daruk was frozen in shock.
➵ he became more and more familiar with the sound of your voice, and by hearing your story he realized that you were a person, someone who existed at some point in history. but you were speaking to him with such pride in the beast you originated.
➵ you were someone, and rudania was something meaningful to you; something to protect. like a torch had suddenly come to life, daruk surged at the feeling of having something in this divine beast to protect, it was you, your voice, and your story.
urbosa
➵ the gerudo cheif had little to worry about as she boarded the divine beast. generally very confident in her abilities, however, one thing lurked in the back of her mind. though she tried her hardest to trust in link, she was concerned about the state of zelda.
➵ urbosa had accompanied the princess on several of her trips to the springs, attempts at awakening her power, but she had watched as zelda failed each time. how would she fair? would urbosa exit vah naboris only to find the princess dead?
➵ these were all thoughts running through her head as urbosa boarded naboris for the first time. however, she was given very little time to reflect on it any more as a foreign voice sounded.
➵ urbosa was introduced to you, and instantly she was drawn to your story of being the first pilot of vah naboris. you sounded so young, how could it be that someone like you could pilot this beast, let alone be the first.
➵ something seemed familiar about your voice, and urbosa realized that it was reminding her more and more of princess zelda as she listened on to your ramblings.
➵ you were childlike, yes, but urbosa could tell from voice alone that you werent weak. had she ever thought of the princess in this way?
➵ if you were able to take control of a divine beast like vah naboris, some thousand years ago, what was stopping princess zelda from reaching her full potential now?
➵ the answer was simple the more urbosa thought about it. she should trust in the princess to do her job, there was no use worrying about others jobs when she has her own.
➵ but something else about your voice was stirring something in her. some kind of longing. it was interesting to think that this young voice could belong to someone so many years older than her. urbosa wished she could have met you, and shared in the glory of being a champion

Can I request a small headcanon as the reader sits quietly with their goron and just deep in thought says: "I want children" and then sighs and continues to sit as if hadn't said anything. And their lover is like: 😳 (or which reaction will suit more??)
It depends on the Goron lol
You could have someone like Daruk who is super enthusiastic about having some rugrats to be a good dad to so when he hears you say that, you're immediately scooped up in his arms and he's got this big, goofy grin as he rattles off about how he thinks you'd be a great parent and he's been thinking about it too and how he'd love to raise kids with you if you're serious about having some!
Or you could have Yunobo who is frozen in shock because he wasn't sure he heard you right and when he realizes he did - is suddenly internally panicking because he's not sure if he's ready to be a father and how would you two even make a child together (can you even make a child together?!) and and and --
But then of course he looks at you and he really sees you. Sees how much warmth you radiate, how calm you are...how easy it is to be with you...and then he gets it. It's a discussion you two would definitely have to have further, but in the meantime, he just silently takes your hand and thinks about how having a family with you would actually be really lovely.
Or you could have a Goron like the OG big boss Darunia, who in my mind's eye gets this devilish grin, and proceeds to pick you up and toss you over his shoulder without missing a beat. And if you were joking - you better tell him you're kidding fast because he most definitely would not be lol if you're looking to make him a daddy, he has every intention to make sure you make him one (whether or not it's physically possible).

If Darunia is any indicator that Gorons have rhythm, then you already know what it is! However, I think it would depend on the music.
Daruk gives me the impression of being very quick to learn dances with a lot of energy, much like his predecessor. Anything that gets a crowd moving and shaking. He's pretty light on his feet in the battlefield, and I think that would translate well for heavier, more lively music. If we're talking about quiet, royal ball type of dancing though - the poor Goron has two left feet. There's a lot of rules and counting in things like waltzes and he gets very easily tripped up with those because he's not able to just feel the music. The only exception is the Tango - Daruk dances a MEAN Tango and if you dance with him you will find yourself breathless with the way he leads. Other than that: just give a rhythm he can feel and he'll either pick up your movements quick or catch his own vibe that fits.
Yunobo struggles a bit with dancing - not because he can't, but because he hasn't before and is worried that he will mess it up somehow. You might have to actually take his hands and show him what to do. He'll try to follow you the best he can, but not with getting distracted mind you (he thinks you look really pretty dancing, even if it is just to teach him). After learning from you, he finally gets a handle on it and can match your movements as you've taught them.
You come to find that at the some of the more royal shindigs, he's not to shabby with the slower dances, leading you with some finesse during a waltz. It leaves you thoroughly impressed, though he assures you that it's because of all the other dancing you've been teaching him that he kind of got the steps right for this one in particular. As far freeform rhythm heavy dancing, he prefers to watch. The music is incredible, it sings to his Goron blood - but watching you dance is far more incredible a sight.

Thank you, darling! School has been a bit of a killer, but we're making it through.
Teenage Daruk & Yunobo...so I'll say for certain that I headcanon Yunobo being a very cautious, timid Goron in his teenage years. And we get quite a bit of that in Breath of the Wild! If you'll recall, Yunobo is kind of a scaredy-cat, something I think lends over from his early teenage years well into the events of Breath of the Wild. He is a good kid though, listens well to Bludo, very mild-mannered and prefers to stay around Eldin if he can help it. That's allowed him to be very thorough on learning the mining business and take in the rich history of Gorons. Pairing that with him learning the terrain of Eldin and all the history that lies in its cracks and crevices, made him useful to Bludo and his mining company back then. Being who he is now, he's grown out of his timidity, wielding the Boulder Breaker with newfound confidence and strength; though he still leans on the cautious side every now and then, it tends to be more out of calculation than fear. He's proving to show some real leadership qualities these days, especially after the events of the timeskip and Tears of the Kingdom.
Teenage Daruk on the other hand was vivacious, I headcanon. An adventurous teen if there ever was one, who wanted nothing more than to wield a weapon and show the world what for! I'd like to think he had quite an active imagination as a kid, but he was plenty kind and helpful to others who needed it. He never backed down from a fight though, which got him into trouble sometimes and I imagine caused him to be a bit hotheaded in his youth when he was upset - except when it came to dogs, of course. That was a fight he still wasn't winning no matter how big he got. If there was ever a reason for any Goron to leave Death Mountain, he'd always offer to go with, and luckily due to his strength - he did get to see quite a bit of Hyrule as a result. His rise to a warrior came when his fiery spirit had blazed into maturity, a duty to his people and the protection of Death Mountain (and eventually all of Hyrule) being a responsibility he knew he could take on. But there's still that gentle giant in him from his teenage years; the same that bear hugs people and serves up the sweetest of smiles.
Can you do headcannons for the champions +Sidon with an s/o that has a very protective kid? Like the kid is very protective of their parent and doesn't let anyone close to them?
Hehe this one is cute! Also kinda fitting for today (or yesterday as I'm writing this at 1 am) since it's Father's Day. I dunno. Parent stuff!
The Champions + Sidon with an S/O that has an overprotective child
Sidon
The day he met his S/O's child, he was little too enthusiastic and was let down pretty hard by the harsh "No. I don't like you" practically spat at him from the tiny child behind his S/O.
But! He would never falter because of something like that. He's sure he can get the child to open up and understand that he loves their parent, and would never do anything to hurt them.
Sidon asks many people for advice, including his father and particularly parents around the Domain. When he hears the things he tells them, like how they're sure the child is just very protective and needs reassurance, he thinks back to when he was a child himself and felt particularly jealous of Link's time with Mipha.
The next few times he sees the child, he tries to strike up a conversation, hoping that slowly but surely, he'll get the child to warm up to him.
Tries a variety of tactics, like gift-giving, sympathizing, and inviting the child along on an outing with his S/O, where he pays particular attention to the kid's demeanor throughout.
Sidon's only a little irked when he's prevented from giving his S/O a goodbye kiss by a little "No!", followed by his S/O being shielded by tiny arms.
Takes to relating them to a pufferfish. "Hello, little pufferfish! How are you today?" "Mmh." "Enthusiastic as ever, I see!"
Mipha
She's very calm and respectful when meeting her S/O's child, taking the time to get to their level and introduce herself. When she's met with nothing but silence and a scathing glare, she's only a little put off.
"Oh, dear. I don't think they're very fond of me..."
Mipha has had experience with children, including her brother of course, so she's sensitive to the emotions of the child. But she's a little anxious that the child may never come to like her.
She can get a bit sad when her S/O's child rebuffs her for being affectionate with their parent.
Her suggestion is to have a talk with her S/O and their child together. Mipha assures them that she loves their parent like they do (she takes care to not say as much to not upset them) and would never come between their parent-child relationship.
Would probably throw her hands up in a panic if the child suddenly interrupted a kiss between her and her S/O.
Revali
Upon being told by his S/O's child that they don't like him, he narrows his eyes and opens his mouth to retort, only for his S/O to interrupt with a "Hey!"
He wouldn't say or do anything mean, but he also wouldn't entertain the child's irritation. The most he would do is let out a "hmph".
Revali finds the minds of children to be complicated, so while he wouldn't admit it, he would feel a bit intimidated by his S/O's child's feelings toward him. The last thing he'd ever want to do is upset his S/O by being inconsiderate of their child.
However, he'd probably take the time to remind the child that it's their parent's decision to be with him. "I don't like you." "Well, they certainly do."
It would take some urging from his S/O for him to try being gentle with the child and open up a little. He'd start by trying to tell them stories of his many feats, or maybe just something simple like something he did with their parent.
Eventually, Revali would, in his own way, try to reassure the child that he loves their parent and wants what's best for both of them.
"Listen. I love them, and they love me too. But, they also love you. So, try not to make things hard for them."
Urbosa
She'd find her S/O's child endearing. Urbosa is confident, so she's not intimidated by the child's attempts at glaring her into the gap between dimensions.
"They have quite the spirit, that one."
Urbosa, being the way she is, would find a way to have a heart-to-heart with her S/O's child, telling them that she understands where they're coming from. She would assure them that they have nothing to fear; she truly loves her S/O and would find nothing better than to be with them and their child.
However, if the child made things a little too difficult for them, she'd take them down a notch with a strong look.
Urbosa would let things work out at their own pace. She wouldn't rush into making her S/O's child like her. She'd let them come to her on their own.
If their S/O's child were preventing them from getting close, Urbosa would likely just give an expression of "Oh well, I see I've been beat" and give a good chuckle.
Daruk
Daruk would approach similarly to Sidon. He would be excited to meet his S/O's child and would be thinking about all the fun activities they're going to do together. But, when he's met with nothing but a glare and has a tongue stuck out at him, he has second thoughts.
He gets pretty anxious about it. Daruk would ask his S/O over and over if they're sure the kid will warm up to him. After being reassured enough, he'll have a renewed vigor and get enthusiastic again.
"Yeah! They're gonna like me in no time! Then, we'll go bomb some Dodongos!"
He actually broaches the idea with the child, and while it's met with a small look of excitement, it's quickly replaced with a disgruntled look.
Daruk wouldn't give up, though. He'd keep trying again and again, and eventually he'd start to catch on why his S/O's child doesn't seem to particularly like him.
He laughs a bit to himself. That's what it was all along! They're just protective of their parent!
He'd take the time to show off his strength and ability, telling the child that he truly cares for their parent, and them too. He just wants all of them to be happy.
Link
Link is actually quite awkward with children, so his meeting with his S/O's child probably would've gone a little weirdly no matter what. But the fact they don't like him definitely makes him a little upset.
Though when his S/O assures him that they're just a little protective, seeing as they're the only parent the child has, Link comes to understand very quickly.
He isn't one to rush into things. He'll go at the pace of the child, being patient and as attentive to their emotions as he can be.
Link is very gentle in approaching the child. He'll go out of his way to show that he means no harm to neither his S/O or them.
But he also wouldn't let himself get pushed around. He would act toward his S/O like he usually does, and if the child protested, he would let his S/O handle it.
It would take a bit more mediation by his S/O to lighten things between their child and Link. It's likely that, as a child, they wouldn't be able to read Link's silent cues as well as an adult.
As a result, Link would try his best to be a little more direct with his S/O's child and be more expressive to ease their anxiety, in his own way. He'd offer a lot more smiles, that's for sure!
If he's asked by the child "Do you really love them?", Link would answer with the most heartfelt smile and nod.
