i use they/she pronouns! i'm intersex and transfem. i don't usually mention the former but it is an important part of my identity! i'm basically asexual aroflux, i suppose? maybe panromantic too? my zodiac is gemini-cancer cusp. i'm on the shorter side and chubby with glasses and shoulder length brown hair. i have smol hands too. i'm neurodivergent auhd and deal with depression and anxiety. i also deal with chronic illness and autoimmune issues so i struggle with walking for long periods of time for example and i'm exhausted constantly.

my favorite color is pink and my fave pokemon is sylveon! i love love love fairy types and would keep my whole team in love balls if i was a trainer! my ideal team would be sylveon, alcremie, primarina, tinkaton, mimikyu, and shiny grimmsnarl <3 i love listening to video game osts, indie, folk, lo-fi, electronic, rock, and metal music. my hobbies include drawing, gaming, sometimes baking too. i love pasta, dr. pepper, and have a big sweet tooth. i have a kinda broken sense of humor where some of the stupidest things make me laugh! this is a bit random, but my self inserts would prolly smell like strawberry vanilla/those dolls from the 80's. my fave animals are ferrets, foxes, deer, and cats.

now personality traits uhh. i'd say i'm kind, shy, quiet, empathetic, and can struggle a bit with self advocacy. i'm more down to earth and goofy when one gets to know me tho. i love animals a lot and am pretty introverted. i prefer the company of my s/o and close friends rather than a crowd. think kinda like fluttershy from mlp. i'd totally cheer for my f/o with a soft lil yay like her~ i'm working on being more assertive too.

I swear that I didn’t just pick him because you like him! I actually thought your relationship would be absolutely adorable, even just while reading your description!

Corbeau can be a very intimidating figure, even despite his short stature. Not only is he a well-dressed and vaguely goth poison type trainer, but he’s the mob boss of a serious crime syndicate. He never thought that he would get married, especially given his past, but when you entered his life that changed shockingly quickly. Additionally, if someone had told him that he’d marry a shy fairy type trainer, he definitely would not have believed you – and yet, here he is! Your conflicting aesthetics may confuse others, but Corbeau will silence anyone with a single glance, and perhaps a threat if need be. It doesn’t matter how different you two can be, you are his sweetheart and people are going to respect you just as much as they do him! Or else!

As if your adorable style and Pokemon team didn’t capture his heart already, your personality captivated him in a way he never expected. He notices your sweet and quiet character first, and that already made him want to protect you, even when he didn’t quite understand why. Corbeau told himself that he was just protecting you because you were his client, but the more he learned about you, the less confident he was about that. Because as your goofy but grounded side came through as you got closer, Corbeau couldn’t deny his feelings anymore. His face was often noticeably red around you, and he couldn’t get your smile and laugh out of his head. After you two finally became a couple, Corbeau not only became more protective of you, but also began to encourage you to be more assertive! He hates the idea of anyone taking advantage of you in any way, but he wanted to help you stand up for yourself. You’re absolutely perfect in your eyes, and he wants you to acknowledge it too, and treat yourself properly.

After you two get together, Corbeau spoils you so much. Not only does he get you the cutest clothes, but he especially likes indulging your sweet tooth. Within reason though, because he still wants you to be as happy and healthy as possible, so he sometimes saves sweets for special occasions. But he’ll definitely get you the fanciest desserts, and the coolest baking supplies to make them too! This is extra true after he learns about your chronic illnesses. Whenever you have a flare up or a breakdown over how hard it is to live with your illnesses (same btw), Corbeau will treat you like an absolute princess. Having a mob boss wait on you hand and foot isn’t something you ever expected to happen in your life, but it’s definitely happening now! Whenever you go on walks, even just to the next store over or something, Corbeau insists on accompanying you. Even with his busy schedule, he still makes time for that as often as he can. Not just so he can help you while you walk, but also because he’s scared that something might happen to you if he’s not there. He always worries about that, honestly. 🥺

And on the subject of your chronic illnesses, Corbeau prefers to have you around as often as possible. He can keep an eye on you, can comfort you when you need it, always has you at arms-reach so you can snuggle whenever you want, so on and so forth. Luckily you’re an introvert who prefers intimate company anyway, so it’s a win-win for both of you! His team have gotten used to seeing you napping on his couches when they walk into his office, but they don’t mention it in front of Corbeau lol.

Corbeau may be the scary boss of the Rust Syndicate, but he is still very soft for you, and he will defend you from anything that might come your way. You’ve completely stolen his heart and brought so much joy into his life that he wouldn’t have expected in a million years, but you’re a big part of his life now and he’s absolutely committed to keeping it that way. 💜

Again, I promise that I didn’t choose him only based on you mentioning him! You genuinely would work really well together!

Honestly it’s not surprising at all that Sidon found you absolutely adorable and lovable, for many different reasons! You have a lovely pink aesthetic, a goofy personality once you get comfortable, an adorable love for food and the kindest heart he’s ever seen! And when you combine all of that with the fact that you’re already short by hylian standards, which means that you’re absolutely tiny by Sidon standards? You are just the sweetest little thing to him. He completely respects you as an equal and for all of your accomplishments of course, but it comes across as a 9-foot-tall shark man being your personal cheerleader. He can’t help that you’re so amazing!! And he can’t believe that you’re actually his sometimes!

Your quiet, introverted side would contrast a little bit with Sidon’s giant golden retriever energy, but he still needs his quiet time too, much to everyone else’s surprise. After long day of diplomacy, dealing with his fanclub and being scolded by Muzu one too many times, coming to his chambers and seeing you idly sketching something by his desk would make his heart sing. And soon you’d have your gigantic shark snuggling you and absolutely melting under your kisses. He becomes a smitten puddle at your feet when you’re particularly affectionate to him, and he doesn’t even care who knows it. Sidon loves you so much, why would he be ashamed about that? Have you seen how amazing his s/o is? Whether they have or not, Sidon will unleash a four hour long rant about how amazing you are anyway, so nobody will doubt how much he adores you at a certain point. It’s not like he’s subtle about it!

Your empathy would also be a really good compliment to Sidon, especially because it’s obvious how much he still struggles with the death of his sister. While he is genuinely a sweetheart, Sidon can also practice a lot of toxic positivity most of the time. He doesn’t want to let anybody see his depression about Mipha and the state of Hyrule and his home, no matter how hard it is to bear. He is the prince of the Zora, he needs to keep up his strong appearance for his people! And when you first start dating, he felt the need to keep up that positive appearance for you too. But you know him better than that. And when you gently approach him about it, so empathetic and kind, it just breaks all of his walls down at once. Sidon truly feels like you’re the only one who understands him, and knows exactly what he needs when he’s struggling, and that somehow makes him even more attached to you than he was already. You mean so much to him, and he does everything he can to make sure that you never ever doubt that.

Both you and Sidon improve so much because of your relationship. Sidon learns to be vulnerable and finally finds peace, even after his chaotic and grief-stricken life, because of the security of your connection. You, meanwhile, learn to stand up for yourself more and become a more confident and secure person because of the strength of Sidon’s love. Any time spent with each other is time well spent, in both of your eyes. Whether you’re enjoying some sweet treats, listening to music together, sharing goofy jokes or having a heart-to-heart, every minute spent by your side only makes Sidon fall deeper in love with you. Hehe this one is cute! Also kinda fitting for today (or yesterday as I'm writing this at 1 am) since it's Father's Day. I dunno. Parent stuff!

The Champions + Sidon with an S/O that has an overprotective child

Sidon

The day he met his S/O's child, he was little too enthusiastic and was let down pretty hard by the harsh "No. I don't like you" practically spat at him from the tiny child behind his S/O.

But! He would never falter because of something like that. He's sure he can get the child to open up and understand that he loves their parent, and would never do anything to hurt them.

Sidon asks many people for advice, including his father and particularly parents around the Domain. When he hears the things he tells them, like how they're sure the child is just very protective and needs reassurance, he thinks back to when he was a child himself and felt particularly jealous of Link's time with Mipha.

The next few times he sees the child, he tries to strike up a conversation, hoping that slowly but surely, he'll get the child to warm up to him.

Tries a variety of tactics, like gift-giving, sympathizing, and inviting the child along on an outing with his S/O, where he pays particular attention to the kid's demeanor throughout.

Sidon's only a little irked when he's prevented from giving his S/O a goodbye kiss by a little "No!", followed by his S/O being shielded by tiny arms.

Takes to relating them to a pufferfish. "Hello, little pufferfish! How are you today?" "Mmh." "Enthusiastic as ever, I see!"

Mipha

She's very calm and respectful when meeting her S/O's child, taking the time to get to their level and introduce herself. When she's met with nothing but silence and a scathing glare, she's only a little put off.

"Oh, dear. I don't think they're very fond of me..."

Mipha has had experience with children, including her brother of course, so she's sensitive to the emotions of the child. But she's a little anxious that the child may never come to like her.

She can get a bit sad when her S/O's child rebuffs her for being affectionate with their parent.

Her suggestion is to have a talk with her S/O and their child together. Mipha assures them that she loves their parent like they do (she takes care to not say as much to not upset them) and would never come between their parent-child relationship.

Would probably throw her hands up in a panic if the child suddenly interrupted a kiss between her and her S/O.

Revali

Upon being told by his S/O's child that they don't like him, he narrows his eyes and opens his mouth to retort, only for his S/O to interrupt with a "Hey!"

He wouldn't say or do anything mean, but he also wouldn't entertain the child's irritation. The most he would do is let out a "hmph".

Revali finds the minds of children to be complicated, so while he wouldn't admit it, he would feel a bit intimidated by his S/O's child's feelings toward him. The last thing he'd ever want to do is upset his S/O by being inconsiderate of their child.

However, he'd probably take the time to remind the child that it's their parent's decision to be with him. "I don't like you." "Well, they certainly do."

It would take some urging from his S/O for him to try being gentle with the child and open up a little. He'd start by trying to tell them stories of his many feats, or maybe just something simple like something he did with their parent.

Eventually, Revali would, in his own way, try to reassure the child that he loves their parent and wants what's best for both of them.

"Listen. I love them, and they love me too. But, they also love you. So, try not to make things hard for them."

Urbosa

She'd find her S/O's child endearing. Urbosa is confident, so she's not intimidated by the child's attempts at glaring her into the gap between dimensions.

"They have quite the spirit, that one."

Urbosa, being the way she is, would find a way to have a heart-to-heart with her S/O's child, telling them that she understands where they're coming from. She would assure them that they have nothing to fear; she truly loves her S/O and would find nothing better than to be with them and their child.

However, if the child made things a little too difficult for them, she'd take them down a notch with a strong look.

Urbosa would let things work out at their own pace. She wouldn't rush into making her S/O's child like her. She'd let them come to her on their own.

If their S/O's child were preventing them from getting close, Urbosa would likely just give an expression of "Oh well, I see I've been beat" and give a good chuckle.

Daruk

Daruk would approach similarly to Sidon. He would be excited to meet his S/O's child and would be thinking about all the fun activities they're going to do together. But, when he's met with nothing but a glare and has a tongue stuck out at him, he has second thoughts.

He gets pretty anxious about it. Daruk would ask his S/O over and over if they're sure the kid will warm up to him. After being reassured enough, he'll have a renewed vigor and get enthusiastic again.

"Yeah! They're gonna like me in no time! Then, we'll go bomb some Dodongos!"

He actually broaches the idea with the child, and while it's met with a small look of excitement, it's quickly replaced with a disgruntled look.

Daruk wouldn't give up, though. He'd keep trying again and again, and eventually he'd start to catch on why his S/O's child doesn't seem to particularly like him.

He laughs a bit to himself. That's what it was all along! They're just protective of their parent!

He'd take the time to show off his strength and ability, telling the child that he truly cares for their parent, and them too. He just wants all of them to be happy.

Link

Link is actually quite awkward with children, so his meeting with his S/O's child probably would've gone a little weirdly no matter what. But the fact they don't like him definitely makes him a little upset.

Though when his S/O assures him that they're just a little protective, seeing as they're the only parent the child has, Link comes to understand very quickly.

He isn't one to rush into things. He'll go at the pace of the child, being patient and as attentive to their emotions as he can be.

Link is very gentle in approaching the child. He'll go out of his way to show that he means no harm to neither his S/O or them.

But he also wouldn't let himself get pushed around. He would act toward his S/O like he usually does, and if the child protested, he would let his S/O handle it.

It would take a bit more mediation by his S/O to lighten things between their child and Link. It's likely that, as a child, they wouldn't be able to read Link's silent cues as well as an adult.

As a result, Link would try his best to be a little more direct with his S/O's child and be more expressive to ease their anxiety, in his own way. He'd offer a lot more smiles, that's for sure!

If he's asked by the child "Do you really love them?", Link would answer with the most heartfelt smile and nod.

Because one of the main areas Sidon hangs out in is the square where all the kids play around Miphas statue makes me think that the kids really like and admire Sidon. Not because hes their brave prince, but because hes always so nice and encouraging towards them. He'll always let them climb him like a jungle gym, he'll pretend to be a monster and dramatically fall over when they pretend to a slay him, and will always have some sort of joke or story to make them laugh.

Sidon is basically like an older brother to all the children in Zoras domain.

Hylians Do What?

Another Hylian thing that our dear Prince is totally clueless about

I mean he hasn’t been able to interact with many Hylians let alone females (or trans/non-binaries) enough to be even remotely familiar about this wonderful facet of their bodies

You hadn’t really prepared him for the change because neither of you had bothered to bring it up

So when it does finally happen, chaos ensues (maybe not total chaos, but it definitely gets messy)

Smell

The scent will be the first thing that tips him off

Being a Zora, his diet consists of fish and other such sea life and in order to get that sea life he must first hunt it down

To make this hunt easier the Zoras developed a sort of sixth sense where they can smell blood in the water so if they do injure something they can track the kill down through the blood in the water and reap their spoils

Great white sharks can smell blood up to 3 miles away even if it’s one tiny droplet they can detect it and track it down, but why is this important?

Because Sidon is of royal descent and possesses shark-like qualities, I believe he may have inherited a stronger sense of smell that allows him to detect blood much faster and at further distances

And this ability doesn’t only work in the water, Zoras can smell blood on dry land as well and that is where the big problem comes to light

Because Sidon is working in his office, pouring over some papers when you come into the room to check on him which he always appreciates

But when you leave there is something off, in the room and it takes him a moment to recognize the scent that is so familiar and foreign to him at the same time

His mind drifts to where he usually smells it, thinking of the water, hunting prey, and when injury comes into his mind he shoots up from his desk and darts out of the room to catch up to you

Sidon in his panic will take hold of your arms and spin you around to face him asking “Are you hurt?! What happened?! Why have you not gone to a healer?”

You are of course confused by this sudden change in his mood and how he examines your body, turning your arms over like he’s looking for something, an injury perhaps, but you’re not hurt you tell him, what would make him think that?

He calms down when he can’t see any obvious injuries and looks at you confused, worry still lingering in his eyes “But… the blood, I can smell it all over your person. You’re not hurt?”

That’s when it finally clicks in your head and you have to sit him down

Care From a Distance

Sidon, while he struggles at first, will do his best to understand how you’re feeling and try to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible

He has no problem running errands for you when you don’t feel like walking, tucking you in when your cramps have you confined to the bed, and making sure you’re eating properly and drinking lots of water

The biggest problem is that he can’t stay around you for too long because of the smell

His body is naturally designed to respond to the smell of blood as something to track down and hunt, and your blood is much sweeter and more alluring to him than the blood of some ordinary prey

It’s an instinctive feeling, blood = food and your blood promises the most delectable food that makes his head spin the longer you spend time around him

It’s stronger, more potent, to the point where he cannot bring himself to lay next to you at night especially when you have been laying in bed, your scent becoming trapped in the fibers of the blankets

Sidon is ashamed to admit that he cannot keep control over his instincts, considering how this is a very vulnerable time for you and he wants to be there to comfort you but he fears what might happen if he gives into his temptations

While a gentleman at heart there is always this primal part of Sidon that he cannot quite shake no matter how much he tries, he is not ashamed of that lineage but when it could potentially put the one he loves most in danger it is difficult to admire it

My Catch

Sidon isn’t the only one who can pick up on your scent, his sense might be heightened but when you’re wandering around the Kingdom other’s can also pick up on it

And they are not as informed as the prince so when they smell it they don’t know that the source is coming from you, their minds will only be thinking prey, must hunt, hunt prey

Which leads to a rather startling encounter where one day you’re strolling through town seeking something in the market and suddenly a hand roughly grabs your arm

When you turn around wincing in pain as claws dig into your skin, you can see that the female Zora’s eyes are fully dilated looking over you with hunger like someone eyeing a freshly prepared steak

Her fangs are bared, body tense like she’s preparing to strike when suddenly Sidon rushes in having seen the commotion from across the center of town

With the ferocity of a predator fending off vultures from its kill he tears the female away from you and pushes her back, shielding you behind hit

It’s only when his strong presence is registered that the female is able to come to her senses and immediately she begins apologizing profusely begging for forgiveness because she has no idea what came over her

Sidon has to force himself to calm down, being her prince he can’t in good heart get too angry at her when it is a constant battle for him to resist you as well

From then on he tries to keep you in the palace and is always with you whenever you go outside so he can deter any lingering eyes from other Zora

Can’t Have Children:

Dreams

Infertility is not completely foreign to Sidon, he knows of Zora mates who tried many, many times to have children but it never seemed to work and he could tell that it saddened them so he always viewed it as a tragedy

Sidon has never been hyper-focused on beginning a family because his citizens always come first but on his off time when he really thinks about his future it’s a story that seems straight out of a fairytale

He will meet someone who takes his breath away and makes his heart beat so loud that he can’t hear anything but the sound of their voice ringing in his ears

He would court that person with gifts and all the attention they could ever hope for, proclaiming his undying love for them all the way up until they wed

The thought of one day being able to sit upon his new throne as the King of the Zora, watching over the domain with his beloved at his side, their children running about the castle laughing and shouting

Everything would be perfect, and for some time he holds on to this ideal future believing it to be the only path he wished to pursue

But then comes the fateful where you stroll into the domain and turn his world upside-down

Ruined?

Right from the get-go, things didn’t go exactly as Sidon had always dreamed of

Because you were not a Zora he learned very quickly that he couldn’t court you like he could with someone of his own kind, and this wasn’t a bad thing

It was exciting to have to work harder to figure out exactly what interested you

Finding the perfect gifts to win over your affections and if you weren’t so much interested in possessions then he would happily put extra effort into bringing you wonderful places to spend time together and talk

It’s different, it’s new, it’s thrilling and he loves every second where he gets to learn something new about you because you are the one he fell in love with and he’d do anything for you

After sometime of being his partner he starts to wonder about his dream thinking maybe now would be a good time to try for the next step

That’s when things get complicated

That’s when you come forth with your family’s history, having children has always been a little difficult even for your parents it was some time before you were finally conceived it’s just something you understood would be hard for you

But Sidon is hopeful, your parents were able to bring such a dazzling gem into the world surely you could do the same even if it takes time he is ready to wait because he loves you and wants to build a family with you

The two of you try, you really do try but after a couple attempts you begin to believe that it just isn’t going to work he’s a Zora and you’re a Hylian it was a longshot to begin with even without your condition

Sidon can’t believe it though, or it’s more like he doesn’t want to believe it because this isn’t how it’s supposed to go, he’s supposed to become king and have children with his beloved so that they can continue the royal line 

He convinces you to try a few more times and each time you two must wait for any sign that it has worked becomes more and more agonizing to endure

A full year of trying and failing every month until you have to confront him and make him see that there isn’t going to be a miracle for you and you can’t deal with anymore failed attempts

And Sidon can’t argue with you, he’s not the one who feels like their body is broken, like they’re letting not only themselves but everyone else in the domain who was looking forward to a little heir

Coming To Terms

The night when Sidon lays down beside you, holding you close to his chest he doesn’t sleep well, at first that is

He’s thinking and re-thinking over his future and how he’s going to deal with not having an heir to take his place at the throne when he is old and what lies ahead for the domain and its citizens

But then he feels you stir in his arms and looks down at your face, despite the red puffiness surrounding your eyes from the rough night you had been having, in his arms you looked… peaceful

Maybe… the two of you didn’t need children, you already had each other and you were still so young there was no need to rush anything
