Oh yeah by the way I'm fuckin BACK FROM THE METAL CRUISE and I have ALL SORTS of incredible stories to share when I'm not about to collapse from exhaustion, but here are some highlights!
TIAMAT. I got to fuckin see old goth metal legends Tiamat TWICE! I was on the rail both times! I didn't even think they played shows anymore!
(I almost hung out with their guitarist in the pool but I chickened out and hung out in a hot tub at a death metal show with a really nice Swiss guy instead)
I got to listen to some unreleased Delain songs on camera so they could film my reactions, and midway through the whole damn ass band busted in and interviewed me and it was SUPER GREAT 10/10 their singer chatted with me about jewelry for a while
Fuckin hanging out with Subway to Sally! For like an hour! While listening to the whole unreleased album!
Their violinist is a fuckin QUEEN I love her
Their drummer and I had a fun long chat and I'm a little in love with him
Their singer thought I was smokin hot and kept calling me fine and saying my eyes were unreal
But I got a set list and a bunch of autographs from them so it worked out
WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME ONE OF THE SINGERS OF NE OBLIVISCARIS WAS SUPER HOT
Seriously if I was single I would have tried to climb that like a tree
I've never been more attracted to a soul patch in my entire life
I got piss drunk on fancy wine on the last night and went nuts on the rail for Cyhra's second set and it was the best time I've ever had while drunk
I am so damn thrilled that I got to do this again. I feel so ALIVE and I cannot wait to do it all over again next year!
