Ugh Franz Kafka could have such an interesting character. Franz Kafka was a huge fan of Fyodor, Nikolai, Charles Dickens, and Poe. I would love to see how they would translate his personality into a character. He was extremely self-conscious, he felt so lonely and feared that everyone around him might hate him. He never married, but was engaged multiple times. He didn’t want his work to be published and his dying wish was for Max Brod to burn his works. Not to mention, while at a sanitorium for his TB, he supposedly actually died of starvation as his throat made it so he couldn’t eat. This is so similar to Gregor from The Metamorphosis, or the main character from A Hunger Artist. Ahhhhhhhhhhh
