why do you sometimes write-like-this-what-are-you-trying-to-achieve?

That is actually a pacing thing.  You see because when-you’re-thinking, sometimes things happen pretty slowly.  Like.  With these.  Pauses?  And sometimes things hit you-in-the-fucking-gut and you’re left reeling just thinking about how-are-you-going-to even recover from that?  You’ve got sixteen-half-breaths and two-point-five full fucking seconds to come up with the exact retort that will define you for the rest of your goddamned life.  (And sometimes, while you’re working that out, you have these side thoughts that move sort of slow.  They’re those energy saving light bulbs that grow from dim little shadows to) full-out-fucking sunbursts.

The sad thing here is that while I understand the pacing and how i want it to sound I cannot actually read it how I want it to sound because I read things like i’m at the indy 500 trying to win first place.
