//I don't know if a lot of people know about this feature so I just wanted to share it.
It was drilled into me, even after tumblr made it difficult, early in my RP experience to cut posts. Posts must be CUT or people would unfollow you, they'd send you hate, make call out posts.
I GOT it, having to scroll for hours to get past something was annoying as hell.
Anyway it's always made me reluctant to write on mobile and stuff, even now all these years later.
However, tumblr itself now have a built in feature to shorten long posts.
You go into Settings > Dashboard and then toggle on shorten long posts.
It makes them look like this
Automatically shortening them on the dash. On mobile it says read more I think.
Anyway thought people would like to know that.
