Registration refund to be issued after press pass was approved (which it was): Nice try, sucker.
just because someone threatens legal action or requests people to direct their legal counsel DOESN'T mean you can't press action: the only problem then is that unless you hire your own counsel, you'll have to go by yourself (pro se) -- but if enough people band together and ask for their own counsel (probably more professionally vetted, to be honest!), there would probably be a case!
what it boils down to is that throwing around the fact you have (possibly) retained a personal legal attack dog is a fucking low scare tactic in dashcon's case.
what dashcon REALLY needs is a fucking audit, lmfao.
