I am sorry to say I do not. You are not the first person to ask me either. All I can tell you is that I have messaged her by every means that I have and she hasn’t replied. I know she was going through some personal stuff so it may be that she is taking an extended break from the internet. The moment I hear anything from her I will make a post to let you all know (as I said, you are not the first person to ask me about her). I am also worried about her and miss talking to her.
I really hate to ask but how old is dashellz? I'm trying to find out if there's any news reports about someone like her being imprisoned/falling into a coma/etc. I doubt she has been, but I really want to see if I can find anything about her.
Sorry anon but I have looked for some news, of any kind really, but Dash has a pretty common first name (for all the times we talked we never got each other’s surnames which seems like a bad idea now) so I haven’t found anything. I don’t know what to say nonny. I have sent her messages through every form of contact I have with her and she hasn’t replied to any of them. I sent her a message on skype last night, I have sent her emails, sent her messages on tumblr but I haven’t heard anything back. I am genuinely worried about her. I have no other way of reaching her. I live in the UK and she’s all the way down in Australia. I don’t know what to do. My mother asked me about my ‘friend in Australia’ the other day and I nearly cried. We used to speak very regularly and now I haven’t heard anything from her since January. I hope she’s okay. I hope she’s fine and just taking a break from the internet and nothing’s happened to her. If I hear anything from her I will let you know straight away. I promise.
I was just wondering - you are a beta for Dashel, right? TLWH is my all time favourite fic, so firstly I wanted to thank you on your work as her beta (you do a great job) and secondly I wanted to ask: what is it like to generally be a beta? What do you do, do you modify the text a lot, do you bounce ideas around? Do you enjoy being a beta?

It’s rather fun actually and I enjoy it a lot. Mostly I’m doing the final proofread of the chapter before it’s uploaded. You know, looking for spelling and grammatical errors. I certainly don’t catch everything but I try :) And yeah we have bounced ideas around quite a few times. I’ve thrown some ideas her way to use or discard as she pleases. There’s also been times when Dash has felt unsure about a certain plot line or wording of a paragraph etc. and I have tried to help as best I can and given my thoughts on each thing as they come. By no means do I ever try shape the story though.
This is her fic and I try to remain unbiased and simply encourage or at times reassure her that, yes, her ideas are wonderful as usual and, no, those few unhelpful reviews are not worth the time it takes to read them. Being a beta is actually quite rewarding for me. I feel like doing that last proofread or giving some quick feedback of a paragraph/chapter can help alleviate some of the worries or doubts an author might have before uploading a chapter or fic. Or at least I hope I manage that :)
And I totally agree with you. TLWH is an amazing fic. Actually all of Dash’s fics are so well written and everyone is kept in character. Her writing style is one I can get myself lost in quite easily...which is probably one of the reasons I have re-read her fics many, many times now ^.^

But lets give a lill bit of the plot here :D It was only a part of my night but certainly the nr1 part of the adventures XD
The wold was mostly peaceful and knew no electricity yet i guess, it was more like an earlier area.
I was traveling around, and visited this nice town between the hills - where my brother lived. It was socrazy exciting getting down the hill on the curly track. - i invented a new plant again just look- Between the few trees, the hill was covered with this strange high grass kind of thing, full with its sweet fruit, which looked like pure white puffy cotton wool, and practically cowered the hills. People and animals were all around happily eating and harvesting. They even waved at me happily… so clearly were high XD
…and guess what… i got down the hill the fast way and looked like it was a common thing to do - by something akin to a snowboard, on the shitload of white puffy things XD haha at least it was a track made for traveling up and down and not every1 just slid/walked on all the food XD
I arrived at the town and looked for my brother -he was quite easy to find. Every1 knew and loved/respected him, he was, how to say, the “brain” of the village XD I mean the scientist/bookman… ok i give up i hope u know what i mean. That was rare, and it was respected, and loved because one around in a town was a great help. He was, “in fact”, a CLOCK MAKER.
:) I immediately got pointed to his Tower. …and gosh it was nice. Simple but nice, and especially from the inside…. think of all these miraculous-amazing scenes from old fantasy movies with the fine had-made clocks and constructions/mechanics… omg even the AIR smelt like old books and warmth, and the light was just…mystical. Ok enough of drooling…about this XD
I was just so HAPPY to see him, the sneer power in my chest wanting to explode omg XD As soon as the door closed and i looked left and right quickly and was sure no1 was around, i grinned -yes actually grinned my biggest possible one XD - and jumped on him and hugged him around his shoulders and burrowed my face in his neck and just grinned like a fool XD :333 aww. even now as i think back i can feel his strong squeezing hug, the softness of his hair and even his smell a bit … but that kinda faded i cant remember and his joy and relief and just… it felt so meaningful…
After that… ehmm— it turned into a realllyyy hot but so sweet scene awww :333 im NOT gonna give a descriptive tale here sorry XD it feels too personal that i was part of it ok? XD no way no u read enough smut already use your imagination, im too embarrassed for this XD it was … a too deep emotional level. XD fine… Im gonna tell u some pointers at least, it was an IS scene, it was emotional, it was SWEET, sensual, awesome, hot, passionate in the middle of the friggin room XD …and itachi knows his shit too well XDDDDDDDDDD

Thanks holly ramen i didnt live through a whole session so i dont have to remember it…. it was more like a cut scene. I guess my crazy brain lost its appetite for that after all XD played with the plot alit then mehh lets jump after all.

I love my dreams they are SO realistic, i mean the senses and feelings are strong.... if its a “my real life” plot i sometimes mistake the memories from my dreams to my “real” ones even, so... :) even the most half assed plot is an amazing experience. BUT i tend to get nice plots too :D

Why is this one of my favorites? Because this dream adventure was awesome, but more importantly, i KISSED NARUTO for the first time and it felt AMAZING. But lets go step by step. -i tried to make it short.
I (Sasuke, remember? :P) arrived at a big city, it was full of life and everything, but it wasnt a modern city...... It was kinda nice. Konoha-kind but bigger and with huge stone buildings too. I didnt arrive alone but that person didnt stay much with me idk a traveling companion for some reason but more like coincidence or had some business... but thats not important.
I met Naruto on the main square or something, it was spacious and filled with people. I was eating something cheep and not really good, but it seemed and felt like i traveled much and i certainly looked like it too, so i bet i wouldnt really care XD and i didnt. I ate it with only a lill frown and shrug- just take a rest and eat that local shit the first thing i found edible XD
I was sitting on some stone bench or some low wall (u know built for aesthetics) with the other person, but not exactly close to each other i guess not exactly friends, whatever..... and Naruto observed us and come there. He was dirty and wore ragged clothes, and asked for food.
The other person told me ahh another hobo even here, hes dirty and keep away (but im not really sure about this part maybe he wasnt a total asshole idk XD ).... But i gave him some food.
i dont know, i kinda felt with him.... at least i understood... and it wasnt like i couldnt afford food at least. Besides, he was somehow "interesting" to me, bugging me somehow i cant explain that feeling just... certainly enough to actually waste some moments -and food- at him (heh oh the twist eh? XD haha ofc those 2 cant just meet and pass beside each other lol)
Thats how we met. There was a blur between (when i get a shitload of information to KNOW), and shit happened, but the thing i remember clear again was that, it turned out that !!!!!!!!

He used disguise to see the real faces of people, to find real friends for himself. (to see whos who and whos just a mask for him to see and get close) Especially testing new arrivals (not every traveler, like he bumped into me and found the urge to approach) and then seeing their faces when "he" met with them (no recognizing from their part somehow :P ) u know the standard prince/king in disguise stuff XD But also he was rebellious and not really fond of the constant pampering and all that shit. .. and as i said, he tested out newly arrived ppl who got his attention too, and had friends as his poor self, as the crazy and funny but kind, nice hobo guy from the main street XD
I could say, he kinda got 2 lives.
So on with the dream...
i remember his birthday was coming, and Minato was in a fuss over everything XD and there was a huge celebration planned and in the middle of setting everything up, the place already full of decorations and shit. ... and Naruto was pissed off right away as he woke up XD for all the the fancyx10000000 shit all the pleasantries and the shameless play of quite some of the guests and shit. U can imagine XD
By that time i was hired as his personal servant (as a facade to be there with him) i think... i was also "in disguise" ... i cant explain exactly how or why...
I woke him up to go and prepare for the damn huge birthday party and shit to get done, and he was so grumpy XD haha but he got ready - and aww we were BICKERING like sns on its finest XD I love it... and i was mocking him XD and on purpose called him majesty or master hahaah with that sarcastic tone and smirk XD felt amazing... and as we hurried to attend the first -and damn important- meeting and played our role during the walk but as we stepped into a hallway where it was sure nobody could see us, i playfully mocked him again and for sure i used the highness or majesty too hahaha was priceless using it like this, his face haha XD but that was more... intimate bickering u know, when they are so close and teasing each other awww XD damn sure turned into a kiss in a heartbeat XD
