Y’all havin’ a good Friday ? Well, Nelson’s here to put some pep in your icey, dicey step this afternoon. I found Nelson at a Communication studies talk, which dare I say, was the most discerningly dapper crowd I’ve had the pleasure of mingling with in some time. Dressed to the nine’s, one might assume that Nelson was the one giving the talk, but not so. A history professor at Laurier, Nelson is a man who takes pride in looking boyishly handsome.
The first thing that stood out was his bow tie and light grey wool suit, followed by his matching pocket square, sleek do and un-scuffed brogues. Nelson is clearly a man who doesn’t leave the house in sweats, god bless his heart ! When I asked Nelson what the special occasion was for his bow tie, he explained that he’s been wearing a bow tie since he was four, and usually buys them from Harry Rosen, “because they are quite affordable and all made in Boulder Colorado, which is fun”.
Nelson remarked that styles change so quickly, which was a reason not to invest too much in off-the-moment clothing. However, we think that whether it’s 1929 or 2029, Nelson’s debonair attire, will never be out of style.
