Dalsbruk collaborative drawing
Young people of Dalsbruk were invited today to help make one big drawing as part of my residency. Hulta Daghem / förskola and also Dalsbruk scouts groups will come together later in May and June to make a huge drawing on canvas. This artwork will signify the maritime products made in the steel factory and the use of charcoal as a medium was chosen as it was used in the blast furnaces in times past. The beautiful charcoal ovens remain in Dalsbruk to this day.

Wire was made in Dalsbruk for many years and is the main inspiration for the design which will be a long spiralling continuous line.
