But you know, this is actually an interesting thing to think about. We don’t know the past of these kids (except for Sice, as far as I know, and with past I mean from the age 0-7,8) so therefore we don’t know their concept of motherly love or love in general. We don’t know how they lived in the special area where Arecia raised them all those years; we know that there were seperated from the outside world. Arecia trained them into war machines, they are loyal to her and do literally anything for her. They took orders from Kurasame, because they knew they came from Arecia. They only know about fighting and nothing else. They didn’t really had a childhood, because all they did was train. Even in the ending they love her and want to spend their future with her. But in the end, we don’t know if it really was only motherly love, or something different. We know what and who Arecia is and what she wants to achieve with those kids, so I don’t know if it just was “motherly love”. Uh, why did I bring up this topic.
