you have a spider + mushroom goddess oc? that’s so cool…

ah! ty!! (i've been feeling wonky all day so took me a bit to answer. but, since more people are showing interest, i might as well infodump a bit right?)

the whole pantheon i've been working on is my most recent passion project. to start each deity, i try to match a natural domain (ie plants, weather, seasons) to a societal domain (ie war, history, crafting) by figuring out which from each category symbolically match best

so, [placeholder] is the goddess of communication, spiders/webs, and fungi! i really liked the idea of matching the interconnected vibes of spiderwebs with the mycelium networks that mushrooms have for forests to communicate!

but then, because spiders and webs and fungi are considered scary/gross to wider society, and because deities like keeping their secrets, [placeholder] is one of the most frequently Othered of all the deities. the whole "ew gross get it away" thing ties in pretty well with the queercoding i'd say

also i say [placeholder] because a friend is currently making me a mini conlang to name all the deities! which im very very very excited about!!! (nadja i think you follow me on here so if you're reading this hi!)

Freed

I headcanoned that when the Tomb of Sargeras is sealed, the spirits that were trapped from the initial assault on the Broken Shore were freed. Well this meant that Dasacht’s spirit was finally freed. But since he was/is a Warrior, he is being called to the Halls of Valor, though Dasora would be able to see him whenever she goes there, it won’t feel the same to her. So she is reluctantly saying goodbye.

Doesn’t Mean We Aren’t Strong...

*shrug* I had a different image in mind, but this is the best I could get. But this is Taria and Dasora, my two RP children that are tough girls, but their pretty faces don’t show it.

Hard to tell with Dasora, but I had “fraken-styled” her. I used eyes from one post, her head from another, and abs from a male human. Taria has a whole different face from the model I used.

“YOU FIEND!” Logan shouted as he came over the hill, the sight before him making his blood boil. Thomas followed after his younger brother and fell to his knees upon seeing the sight before him. Dasora came running after them as she heard her brothers.

“Logan what is it? Wha-” Dasora gasped “no...”

“Oh yes,” said the demon, “I have done what I should have done long ago,” there was a dark chuckle in his tone as he glanced down to the faintly glowing violet gem hanging from his sword “and now she will never see your wretched father in the afterlife,” he glanced down to Zorah’s corpse and grinned sadistically “don’t worry though,” he said looking back up to them “you’re next! Now hold still, daddy has one final lesson to teach you,”

Fading Fury: You Shouldn’t have

Dasora had returned to Dalaran. She didn’t know what to do. She went searching for some sort of sign that her father was still alive or at least something more of him to bring back. She expected to find an armor scrap or at least a body, but what she found was a lot different. What she found was her father, but it was also not him. The Demon that he harbored within him had taken control over him. Using his body in service to the Legion. She decided that her father needed to be laid at rest, so she fought him, but as she went to make the killing blow, her father had shown through. She couldn’t go through with it, she had her father back. Even if it were for a few minutes.

When he had began losing control, he had told her to run, and she had done so, very reluctantly. Now here she was, back in Dalaran, where her mother and her brothers were. Her mother was angry that Dasora had disobeyed her, and her brothers weren’t too pleased either. Thom lectured her on her recklessness of going alone, Logan reprimanded her for allowing her weakness be known to the Demon. But she didn’t hear their words. Instead, she only heard her father’s.

“Run my little fire, and don’t look back...”
