I’m thinking that Illinois was being chased by a few Hunters, and knowing that with him being middle/high (still not sure how strong I wanna make the boy) he wasn’t going to get out alive. So he uses some of his magical charms to trick them into believing that he’s a low-rank and decides to get captured, planning on escaping as soon as he had a chance But something about the guard in charge of him is just too good to leave...and also that ass be looking nice too XD
