Holy shit dude is your dog okay? She really needs to keep her dog up like fuck. Either her dog's gonna get put down for biting someone or something else bad's gonna happen. Just keep the kids safe and away. I had to have rabies shots before and honestly I would have rather them just take the hand.
That was my biggest fear that night, that they would want to start him on the shots as a precaution because the woman couldn’t/wouldn’t provide proof of vaccination (and then the next morning I found out the dog’s shots expired 2 years ago, so the terror started all over again). Fortunately the doctor that treated him believes he’ll be fine, so I’m hoping he knows what he’s talking about.
That dog is horrible. I like dogs but not this one. We never go near it, never have - it always comes onto our property to be a bastard, and every time the kids run straight in the house because they know it’s a vicious little asshole. This time it caught Little off guard and he froze...plus he probably thought it would be okay because the owner and her daughter were both out there, I mean he should have been able to expect them to control it or at least intervene. Of course we know now that’s expecting too much on both grounds.
I’ve heard (and read) that the treatment is horrific. Better than the consequences of not doing it, though...but my god, Little is 8 years old, he shouldn’t even have any of this happening to him, ya know?
