I struggled to find something. I have a billion snippets of stuff I'd ideally like to develop/rework to post, but I'm struggling to much and am too busy to do any of it.

please forgive the bad grammar/lack of quality. I've been struggling to write, and with my english 🙈

They run in between the blossoming trees and bushes, flop down in flowery fields and clearings. The flowers of the gardens' trees provide cover when they're climbing walls.

Her grandfather grumbles and berates them when they reappear from whichever adventure they were in, covered in petals and pollen and twigs and leaves.

Sometimes, they escape for snacks and a couple of idle hours. Sometimes in the city, going from stalls to stalls and getting snacks with scrambled money from her grandfather, or his mother's ennuch.

Ling plucks pretty flowers from wherever attracts his eye and puts them in their hair. She protests weakly but ultimately always let him do. She touches the flowers with her fingertips, and turns her head to admire it in reflective surfaces, bright colors stark against her hair, when her isn't looking. It's nice.

Lingfan week 2026

Hello everyone, first post with this account. I am terribly sorry for the delay, I have been immensely struggling with my mental health. I still do actually, but this, I hope, will help.

So : Rules first, which they will be short and easy honestly. Then I'll do another post for the prompts, I have a list and got a few suggestions, so I'll propose them all! A poll would be nice but I am uncertain how to do that.

Now rules :

Just write, or do art, or edits, or even meta, anything HUMAN made to answer the prompts. I think a big part of the fun in characters/ships/whatever weeks is trying to follow the prompts, but I am also someone that likes to give people freedom so no they are not binding.

You do not have to post exactly on the day of a prompt for this prompt. You can mix prompts too. And yes : you can post after the week is over :) That includes if you fall on this week months or years later.

Lingfan of course BUT personally I allow focusing on one character of the ship and only mentioning the other. I will also allow them being with other people -- including in an happy way. As long as there's some Lingfan somewhere of course. However thr bashing of Lingfan to prop up another ship pleade avoid

Oookey so results for the lingfan week's poll lean toward later, in July/August.

I am very sorry for the few pple that voted for end of April but I think we'll go for the other option.

I am starting to think of prompts, I welcome suggestions! I was thinking one to two prompts per day, and some alternatives (not attached to a day).

But I have to admit I remember in my olden days some cases of having one prompt per day only, and whilst it was more constricting, it was less overwhelming with too many possibilities. So I am considering one prompt per day + the few propositions of alternatives (not attached to a specific day.) I shall see, depending on how many prompts we end up with, and what people would prefer.

I will make a sideblog for the week I think, write the whole rules thing although tbh its going to be pretty simple and free.

And keep you all that voted yes (or maybe) updated!
