Got tagged by avengers-on-the-uss-enterprise to do these Star Trek questions, so I'll give it a whirl. The original post is here. SO SORRY for doing this late but it's long and haven't gotten around to doing it for a while.
You can have any star ship from the Star Trek universe to fly around in, what ship do you choose? - I’m gonna be unsurprising and pick the Enterprise :) (constitution class)
What would you call your ship? - I have no freaking clue. Probably something historical or mythological. I kinda actually want to do it off of an under appreciated genius.
Data and Captain Archer both had on board pets, what would your pet be? - Definitely a dog. What hold on, are we counting mythological creatures? Bc then I want a dragon or like a phoenix. Just something freaking majestic.
Are you still human, or some other species? - Oh shit this is the worst question to ask me. I like being human, but an android would be so fucking cool. Then there's half human half vulcan ppl like spock and that's amazing. Then again cardassians have such sass. This is why I don't make important decisions unless it's last minute. Can it be a crossover? Then maybe I can be a Timelady.
Which doctor/first officer/head engineer/head of security from any series would you chose to have on your ship? - Mccoy/or the Doctor from Voyager, first officer Spock, Scotty (bc he and I would like some nice whiskey together), and Odo (bc he's odo).
What is your start up theme song? - TOS or TNG.
Q has come along to visit you, and is offering to grant 1 wish, what would it be? - I want to be a Q. or he can give me some time traveling abilities. Holodecks are great, but come on, given a chance to go to some actual concerts would be the best thing ever.
What is your badass captain saying (Picard has Make it so! for example)? -
What is your number 1 replicated food and drink? - Food: lots and lots of poutine. If u don't know what it is, it's fries (or chips if ur british), with gravy and cheese curds on top. I'd add purogies and bacon bits on top. The drink would be green tea (and not the ridiculous bag ones. For green tea you need the real powder stuff). I drank a pot in one sitting once so….
What ‘faction’ do you work with/for? - The Federation for sure. If i get a better offer, I might head over to the Q continuum though.
Science, Engineering or Command? - I can't do command to save my life. You've seen how indecisive I am up there right? What makes u think I can do important decisions on a star ship? I could do science or engineering. I think engineering would be more my forte since i love to tinker with stuff.
You have been forced by your doctor to take shore leave, what do you do/go? - Definitely not earth. Maybe some paradise place that's tropical like Okinawa or Hawaii. Not a resort planet like Risa.
Your ship has been graced by the presence of Lwaxana Troi, what do you do together? - Hangout, gossip, and frankly have a giant laugh.
You got caught in the Nexus, what do you see? - Oh god. I'd be stuck in the TARDIS with all my fave tv show characters (non star trek though) like Sherlock Holmes, mixed with the Doctor, etc.
You can replicate any outfit to wear as Captain (regulations can “Go to hell” here), what outfit do you get? - Mix and match. I'd like Picard's leather/suede jacket with my own black boot cut jeans with a pair of nice boots and for a top… I have no freaking clue. OH OH and an really awesome necklace. Maybe a fedora or some other cool hat.
You have been given the ability to change a single thing in Star Trek canon. What do you change? - VULCAN DOESN'T GET FUCKING BLOWN UP IN THE REBOOT!!! There are other ways to change the freaking future JJ Abrams. If we are talking non reboot… Kirk doesn't die the way he does.
Kirk, Picard, Sisko, Janeway and Archer all ask you for help, but you can only help 1 of them. Who is it? - No to Janeway and Archer bc they aren't my fave captains despite their strong points. Maybe Kirk or Picard. This is a toughie again… Yeah def. Picard because I can deal with his logic better.
Wesley Crusher has asked to come on board, do you allow this? - Maybe… depends on how old he is in this point and time.
Who would be your nemesis? - I have to say… the Gorn or maybe Deanna. She and I most likely won't get along.
If you could have 1, non-recurring Star Trek character on your ship, who would it be? - Those fish people that Lwaxana stops from sabotaging a treaty. They are hilarious.
Finally (before I write 50 questions and drive everyone mad), what is your favourite thing about Star Trek? - OH GOD YOU JUST WENT THERE AND --- Ok, here's the calm and rational me now. I love almost everything about star trek where they pushed the boundaries and got people to talk about what was really moral, how to treat others, etc. Then there was the great plot, story arcs, and character development ranked up in DS9 and TNG. The best part is what people took from it, and used it to inspire themselves like how some astronauts and scientists say that Star Trek was their inspiration for a better future. This shows has given such hope and love to everyone that I am proud to call my self a Trekker, and know that I am Star Trek trash.
