Some days, dressing hyperfem feels just... Right, you know?

I actually got the top, the jacket, and a new petticoat secondhand from my actual mother-in-law. Who was cleaning out her closet to make room for new stuff and gifted me some things.

(I just need to emphasize. "some things" means here that I received 3 massive tote bags AND a suitcase full of corsets, goth party clothes, tailored office wear, Dita Von Teese and Marlies Dekkers lingerie, and Patrice Catanzaro fetish wear, all barely worn. It was like Christmas come early. I must have done something really well in a past life to not just get an incredible spouse but also truly epic in-laws.)

I might customize the jacket with more frilly stuff. Or pearls. Idk, it could use something Extra.

(and yes I know, uncovered shoulders are a true EGL style sin, but it's really hot in this office, forgive me xD)

Loving my new lashes, and I'm going to a drag show tonight, so I felt it was worth a pic or two.

I don't really make a habit of showing my full face on here, but... This makeup look is worth an exception, my love for it is stronger than my dislike of people seeing my face.

If there's one thing I can credit these silly outfit posts with it's me getting less dysphoric about my face. Doesn't always work, but... I guess I don't hate what it looks like so much anymore. Glittery eyeshadow helps? xD

Work feels like I can see a guy comically spinning his arm like a corkscrew Popeye-style, gearing up to knock me the fuck out. Meaning: not bad right now. About to be very bad, very soon.

Sigh.

But I thrifted this fun skirt and got new ear hangers and a fresh pair of my favourite Pleasers for Christmas, so... we're staying positive :)

Status: Monster Green and Stuffed With Stimulants

I bought this suit last year for the wedding of a friend -the dresscode was "cheery spring brightness" and I had been explicitly prohibited from wearing black. Nobody said anything about obnoxious bright green tho, so... that's what I went with.

I have actually gotten so many compliments from strangers today on my outfit, it's kinda crazy. I wasn't feeling life today, it was a "held upright by the combined power of nicotine, methylphenidate and monster energy drink" kind of day... But apparently something about this look really worked?

Anyway. It had been a while since I shared an outfit, so here's me again. D

Guess whose job got new lighting in the bathrooms? XD

I have to give a presentation today at our quarterly department meeting... I am significantly more nervous than I expected. My project manager called in sick, so this is gonna be all on me alone. I know I've made a good presentation, but damn.
