Dunk loves being in shape and practicing consistency, since it is the key to staying fit. So it's no surprise when he suggests the two of you work out together or warm ups, he doesn't force it he just simply brings it up. Your inner athlete is calling youuuu... piiickk upp..
The first few days he tries to coach you with warm ups, weights & yoga to really get your body used to it. But he absolutely beams energy when he sees that it's lightwork for you, he had no idea that you had been secretly exercising by yourself. Not that he's mad, he's hella impressed actually!! You should've worked out with him though, it would've much more fun.
During breaks he can see how you wipes sweat off your forehead and huff before getting back to work, he admires the hustle so much. He expected you to be semi-sore or at least tired from working out on the first few days, this is unexpected but in a positive way. And we know Dunk loves positive.
You can bet Dunk challenges you to an arm wrestle by the end of the week of exercise, he just smiles and rests his arm on something nearby and challenges you.
"Alright, let's try out your true strength. Inner athlete to the test, against me!! Don't be discouraged if you don't win, this is a team effort. And our goal is to win!"
And surprisingly Dunk actually struggles to push your hand down, for like 15 seconds and then manages to slam your hand to the surface. You tried and you failed, but hey!! That was major improvement, he's never had a problem with arm wrestling before. He actually wants to test you even further to see how far you can get.
And you just fess up and come clean, that you're just generally fit and strong. Though it's true you haven't worked on yourself in awhile or played sports, you're just surprisingly strong. And that excites him SO much, like so positively so he "softly" hits your shoulder. That was not a soft hit, it was an extremely strong one but you can tell that he's just happy.
Dunk ups the level of fitness, since now that he knows you can take it on. He'll still coach you of course, but he won't have to baby you with steps. He enjoys that you're able to catch up with him and give him a challenge when working out with you, it's great to have someone on your level. No matter the exercise, yoga & weight lifting, it's great to work on your inner athlete when you've got a head start of being strong. Dunk loves it, also he thinks it's hot that you're strong enough to rival his own strength.
